  1. As Jones said one difference is tts is the dsg (dual clutch auto) only, ttrs is 6mt only. The other difference is the tts is a revised 2.0 liter with the k04 turbo (larger turbo than the normal vw 2.0 liter turbo and the same as what's in the current golf r) and the ttrs has the five cylinder turbo. Hp is 260 for the stock tts versus 360 in the stock ttrs.

    Still a beetle.

  2. 2002 Reynard Warlock shifter chassis. Alfano Pro gauge/steering wheel, aluminum wheels, 40mm axle (X-Hard), 1996 Honda CR125 engine. Has less than 1 hour on new top end with high compression gaskets. Rebuilt master cylinders, front and rear calipers and new brake pads. Set up for SCCA KM Solo/Autocross. Hands down the fastest kart I've driven. Kinda firm at $2500 but will listen to the right offer. No trades.

  3. We had this kid who never worked in a shop on cars ever come right out of collage and took the tests and passed them all. Dude was a master tech and never worked in a shop. He didn't make it a month before they fired him because he was stupid.

I've been master certified since '06 I think it was. At the dealers I've worked at it didn't really mean anything except for warranty claims on corvettes and hybrids. Since I was already one of the highest paid techs they didn't want to give me anymore money though. I've never paid for any ASE test I have ever taken the dealer always takes care of it.

  4. Update. the trans has been pulled apart and all pieces inspected. The torque converter is what blew. All the clutches are perfectly fine. Not much wear at all. There are a few parts that need replaced, but none are the gears, clutch packs or anything.

The trans isn't toast. Just needs $200 in parts and it's a $2500 trans. Needs a input sun gear, and a reaction shel and a new Differential.

Before you get too sure the clutches are not wore out you need to reassemble the clutch pack and check the gap. I've burnt myself on that once and had to pull the trans back out and replace the clutches.

  5. honestly all I do is feed the fish once a day, change the filters once a week and change the water every two weeks. I would like to spend more money and time on it but I'm busy with other things right now.

  7. Decided to take down my 210g reef tank as I don't have the time to devote to it that I would like to. The set up includes 210g display tank, 210g refugeum, 55g bubble trap, return pump, closed loop pump, wave box, roughly 220lbs of live rock, 90lbs of live sand, misc. corals and fish, skimmer, heaters, 45g fresh water mixing tank, auto top off, RO/DI water filter, 3 250w MH with electronic ballasts, sump light, light timers. I know there is a few things I'm forgetting but everything I have will go with the tank. It is currently up and running, will not separate. $5000obo. I have way more in this set up and I feel the price is fair.
