i think the 1st would be best too. i have an autocross the 18th and the 2nd and plans for the 25th 26th. i really want to take the vette down there too, the camaro was fun last year.

best you can do now is speed with no points if its franklin county. case law from Iowa said they didn't have to drop it to a non moving. i got a ticket a few years ago and less than a month before that came out.:bs:

could it have been a TBSS or GTO engine?

stock C5* or C6 vette will do it right off the show room floor. the C5Z will not do it stock, it is gear limited and drag limited. you have to take the redline up for it to happen.

they had something like that on mythbusters last year.

we used to do alot of it for advanced CCW people but since we no longer have the range can't do it anymore. it was CQC type of stuff, used both holster draw and rifle/carbine and mixed both. ahh good times, good times. i still have one or more of my books from when i was a Tactical Weapons instructor if anyone can find us some room to do it in.

to those of you that didn't come out, the new ZR1 was there racing. i went from 6 to midnight with the quickness.

care to try my racing and then tell me what takes more skill? you can drive my car. there are 2 more chances to drive 10/18 and 11/2. 1.72 not bad for a set of 245's that were worn out with a 450 horse car. too bad it ended up with a 13 flat due to 7 of 8 cylinders the head gaskets blowing out.
