  1. its the tires, you have a seperated belt.
  2. i stayed away from Auburn from others experences with them. i had planed on getting it for my car but changed to a Detroit Locker Truetrac. its not that Auburn doesn't make a good product its the durability of it, plus it still has clutches. Now Eaton make a good unit for a limited slip. this is just what i think, doesn't make me wrong doesn't make me right.
  3. 2003 Yamaha YZF-R6. my first and current bike, other that a lot of motocross bikes, pretty light weight, smallest of the 600's overall size wise. don't know what it tops out at but i've had it to just over 160 at about 13,xxx RPM and still pulling hard. easy to ride, likes fast corners, does some good ridin on 1 wheel (front or rear wheel) and it looks damn good.
  4. Auburn = suck, when i was looking around for canadits for the rear diff of my car i found alot of bad things said about the clutched burning out quick. not the Detroit true track i got in it now = bad ass no clutches.
  5. i don't know how they start them burning, i think they just get them hot by building a fire around them, but they just take a cracked junk block and they burn just about all night by them self

    i found a bike i want

i thought about the resale part of it and wasn't that concerned about it, however i bought a car once that had a slavage title to it and when it was transfered to my name it was a clean title. so we'll see how it goes, i still have to ride it but i did go over it pretty good and everything is cosmetic. i'm going to talk to him again tomorrow and i'll throw up an update on what i decide.

    i found a bike i want

its in Hebron, i looked very close at the swing arm and its not into the metal at all it just took the paint or what ever Yamaha put on it off. it wasn't wrecked hard. the guy was hullin ass out of his drive way on cold tires and it washed out from under him, the mail box post broke the rear sub frame so it wasn't a very fast wreck. and i would be trading an R6 for an R1.
  8. but it has a slavage title graemlins/thumbsdown.gif , its an 04' R1 with under 500 miles on it. the dealer has fixed it and put some parts i wanted on it to try to get me to buy it. with trade of my 2003 R6 it would only be a few hundred buck more to get it. i have seen it before it was fixed, broke the tail section and most of the plastic, has some road rash on the swing arm, did not touch the engine or the gas tank. so what do you guys think? should i get it or not?
  9. actully yes they do, VW engines are a common bonfire fuel out in the desert.
  10. i'll prolly be up there on a silver and black R6
  11. i'll be out, maybe meet up somewhere
  12. yeah i am the AJ that worked there, ASE isn't open book test, the last 4 i took wern't anyways, the only reason i take them is the area service manager for GM gets on my case about them, that and GM traning. i have been a tech for 4 or 5 years at GM dealerships so i do have alot of skills behind me and i'm not taking anything seriously, i mean this is the internet. but out of the 4 test i have taken i did pass all 4 witch are electrical, engine performance, steering and suspension, heating and a/c. they may just be a piece of paper but i have a better chance of getting a job at a shop than someone with out them or less of them than i do.
  13. lube the tail gate handle not the latches, we have been replacing alot of those on s-10 and full size trucks
  14. nope its white with an american flag type deal on the side, its my dads boat but i'm about the only one that takes it out, we're always by the tree swing or tubein, just look for the dumbasses doing 55 with a tuber behind the boat
  15. yeah what time? i'll be out and about tonight.

i called a few placed to strip the body and they wanted too much as i can do it myself cheeper,i didn't strip it before i did the work because when i blast it it will get all the oil and dirt off insted of having to go back and clean everything again before paint. as for the power house juat a regular ol' small block chevy with 2 hair dryers
  23. the "official" name of this 1967 pro-touring camaro is Go Fast. thus this being "Project Go Fast" just a little car porn for you to peak at graemlins/thumb.gif , Brake, clutch and gas pedal rear end of car Trick front suspension by the way, those are Budnik Famosa 18x12 with 5.5 inches of back space. they are wraped in a 335/30ZR18 tire.
