The max amount of contribution as of 2008 is $5,000 as long as you make under $101,000 annually. A traditional IRA will give you a tax break now just as a 401k will depending on your tax bracket but a Roth will benefit you more when you actually use the money when you retire but you dont get the tax break now when you actually contribute the money. So... you either benefit now or when you retire. Due to now knowing what your financial stability will be with your 60y/o and not knowing what your tax bracket will be chances are you will save more money through not paying as much taxes if you contribute to a Roth IRA. This is the way I understand it, I am DEFINITLY not an expert so dont take my advice until you talk to a professional.

So Im slightly e-dumb and was wondering if the more computer literate members of CR could recommend a good security software for my comp. I use to have Norton Internet Security bundle it was easy to use and straight forward but I have heard that it doesnt provide all that much security. So can anyone recommend anything?

The kits are expensive, i think around 1500$) but they are extensive and you pay for the ease of not putting together everything yourself. I have seen at home kits where you can produce biodiesel at home but of course there would be weekly labor involved in making it yourself.

It would never happen and if it did it would be the first feature that customer's would complain about. think about it, who wants to be embarrassed at the check out line by being denied. not to mention financial insitution's make money. If they see a opportunity to do so they will do it.

whoa who said anything about drinking and driving and supporting it? The wedding party took a limo so I didnt have to worry about driving after paying the $100+ bar tab i rung up. yes it was a cash bar but my brother paid for it himself so no one really cared not to mention there were like 20 bartenders attending the wedding anyway. I completely agree. Though it would be nice to see the pens win it all, they so young and talented it would be great to see a franchise make such a drastic turn around in only a few years and return to a power house. I think its great for the NHL as a whole.

I know a few strippers and everytime i hear about their bf's hating their job I ask "does he pay your bills?" After i get the inevitable "hell no" the point is made. So my brother is getting married today. other than the obvious that i think im watching a trainwreck in slowmotion and can honestly say i dont think they should be I have made a few observation's about weddings/wedding parties in general. 1. Tradition sucks 2. Weddings generally bring out the worst in people. lots of drinking and debautchery (sp?). normal people doing things they would've never thought of before. (ie, hooking up in the coat room of the church.... sorry god) 3. A bit of advice. test drive your tux... try it on and wear it over and over b/c when it comes down to D day and your vest is too fucking tight your pretty much screwed. 4. I couldnt agree more. then again I can understand my point of view might be differently if i had a wife and kiddies. I know how much i like spending time with my neices and nephew's and can only imagine that feeling compounded with my own kids. But until then, work hard play hard i suppose.
