As the second youngest in this thread I'll say i hope i learned my lesson soon enough. Tim is right, its not neccessarily what you make but what you save. (of course this only goes so far) Now that I've squandered my first few earning years im definitly saving alot but still not sure if its enough. And honestly after reading the original post some of this shit stresses me out.

Holy shit, you just read my fucking mind. If im getting drunk its Miller Light and cherry bombs or patron If im just having a beer its Sam Adams or whatever is their seasonal stuff at the moment. I think their "fall brew" (cant remember the name) is by far the best. If not that then Bass, Smithwicks, etc... Black and Tans and all that shit are a bit too much for me though. I like 350z's but you cant buy something like that and seriously expect it to keep up with faster cars. Its definitly a nice car but its not a speed bargain by any means. I hate to say it but there is really no replacement for displacement. Especially when ls1's are getting cheaper and cheaper.

Im moving this weekend (today actually) and I have literally hundreds of car magazine's i need to get rid of. Motor Trend Car and Driver Sport Compact Car Super Street GM Performance Mags of some sort Misc MensHealth and some Gun mags The Majority are Motor Trend and Car and Driver, with other's including Sport Compact Car and yes... dare i say... some Super Street (hey i was young and didnt know any better). There are a handful of misc MensHealth, GM performance mags and even some gun mags. Price is free, come take this shit or im throwing it out. Im moving all day today and have a hockey game at 5 so if you need to contact me you'll have to call my cell at 614-657-6598. Only catch is you have to bring your own box or carry them, i need the big plastic tubs they are in. Thanks.

I should explain a bit. Todd is a strong guy but he was ABSOLUTLY wasted, so when I say he punched me in the chest it wasn't like I took it seriously or that I was hurt or anything. I've worked in/around bar's for years and I somewhat agree with Tim. If your serving someone WAY over the legal limit, if their slurring speach, stumbling, and obviously intoxicated then they should be cut off. Ive cut people off before and instantly called a cab and yes they either get mad and want to bitch and scream or they concede and agree with you. however I dont see how any establishment could be prosecuted. If a person has already went to several different bars then who's to say who did/didnt contribute to the ultimate outcome? Not to mention with wrongful death lawsuits if the establishments COULD always be held accountable the price of insurance alone would soar and even owning a bar wouldnt be possible.

I absolutly agree. It took me 22 years to figure this out but damn it feels good not to live paycheck to paycheck anymore. Keep in mind I am in NO WAY rich but just like 'wnaplay' i dont struggle even when i see guys making the same if not more than myself and they struggle. /back to topic. I dont neccessarily like nor dislike what I do now. It pays well and benefits are great but it just seems unfullfilling. Like Im somehow not living up to my own expectation's. eh i'll figure it out.

So there's this guy whos a regular at my bar. Good guy, decent always looks out for others, etc... well he's a total functional alcholic and everyone knows it. He even tells people "if i get too drunk, take my keys because i cant get ANOTHER DUI". FFWD tonight and sure enough, he gets too drunk. Me, my brother, his wife and some friends are there having a good time and he approaches me and says "if you dont give me my keys ... i dont want to have to kick your ass". Now Todd is a pretty stocky guy but he's wasted so im thinking, ok dont fight a guy who's clearly drunk. He's my friend and i know we'll both regret it ... and yes I do have his keys in my pocket. long story short this asshole punch's me in the chest b/c I wont give his keys to him. After that some words are exchanged and somehow my brother gets into it with some dude whos not even involved. They're clentched up like they're about to choke each other out and all for what? because some fucking alcoholic wanted to drive home. Damn me for helping him out right? I swear sometimes I think it would just be easier to let people go about their lives without interruption but I dont know if i could live with myself if todd had hurt or killed someone last night bc he was too damn stubborn to call a cab. Fuck drunk assholes.

Sad to say but he passed away earlier today. I may not have liked the administration but he always had a easy demeanor about him. Thats probably why they made him Press Secretary but still. I just heard it on the television and CNN.com doesnt even have anything on it yet so im sure its very recent.
