Thats a really good idea but I wouldn't want to be facing an armed intruder with a cork bullet. You'd have to shoot them in the head to put them down. I've noticed people use shotgun's for home defense but why not something smaller that wouldn't neccessarily penetrate numerous walls? Im a gun newb btw.
-
You dont think thats a bit much for a beginner? I've gone shooting with some friends before but never grew up around guns and we weren't a very 'gun friendly' family either.
-
wow, good to hear your family is ok Tim. Im going gun shoping now.

Whether or not I reside in Delaware has nothing to do with my assesment of you being a complete moron. I wasn't agreeing/dissagreeing on the ability of Delaware law enforcement to do their job. I was critisizing you for making blanket statements about a whole niche of people of whom you probably only know a small percentage. How can you make a fair assessment of cops in Delaware is you "know a guy who knew a guy who got a 1mph ticket etc..." even if you knew said person first hand for all you know he could've been speeding through a school zone and deserved such treatment. In addition, to the "you treat me like shit" comment. Martin this is the real fucking world. No one is going to go out of their way to be nice to you so dont expect it. Want people to treat you differently? Then quit acting like a tool. Now step away from the key board and go eat some paint chips. This is my last post.

Ive been meaning to pick that up but wasn't sure if it was out yet. The single thats out now isn't that bad. Ive never been a HUGE SP fan but always enjoyed some of their stuff. right now this very minute im listening to old radiohead. But I listen to pretty much anything.

Mark, dont even do it. You've put way too much time and money into it to walk away. You've toyed with this idea before but never did it, you know your going to regret it. oh and post some pics.
-
No way. Your right the wiring harness is completely different and thats just to start out, it would cost more work, time and money to convert everything than if he just sold the shell and bought a fwd tsi. Why doesn't your friend research it for himself?
-
How are you going to make blanket statement's about a whole district of law enforcement? Have you ever thought that maybe their not dick's to everyone, just immature punk kids like you? And please god tell me you never used the term "give me a break" in a court of law. If I were a judge and you tried that bullshit with me I'd give you maximum sentence no matter what the charge. Simply becuase you automatically assume Im going to offer you a break because you say so. More intellectual garbage... then again what should I expect eh?

Anybody ever live in the southern ohio/Chillicothe area??
HotCarl replied to CJINOHIO03's topic in Dumpster
My ex use to live in Washington Courthouse which isn't too far from chillicothe if i remember it correctly. I spent alot of time in dublin/wash. crthouse area etc... All of those town's are pretty much the same 'small town' feeling. Personally I like it but there are alot of downsides. Hard to find a decent job, dont think their everywhere like they are here. If you work in ANY service industry/food job your making minimum wage. Other than that you might have to drive a few miles to find some sort of manufacturing plant of some sort, or a shitty warehouse job etc.. Evan's right there aren't alot of assholes around all the time but you get alot of that "good ol' boy" attitude. Yes it is the country and more of a chance to do things outdoors but most of the area is farmland so there isn't a whole lot to do. Other than that I wouldnt mind buying some land to retire out there one day but personally I'd rather live in the city right now. -
coolest grandparents ever.

http://www.tolcs.org/es/ I forgot that since I left they built a new elementary building in dublin. Its combined with Dublin Christian Church (i think thats the name) right by Meijer's/ Lexus of Dublin, Ive never been but it looks really nice. The location I was thinking is off of Indianola, which I think is by Ohio School for the Deaf if Im not mistaken. Still a nice school, oh but you should know they all wear uniform's. My mom loved this idea b/c she never had to go shopping for "real clothes" I dont know why.
-
I use to know several people who went there, its definitly a solid school. I went to Tree Of Life Christian Schools 7th grade-10th, then to Worthington Kilbourne till graduation. All because my mom hated the Junior High Worthington offered, but Kilbourne was one of the top 3-4 HS's in the city. Tree is very comparable to Worthington Christian though I think it is smaller. My whole class consisted of 45-48 kids every year I was there, my graduating class at kilbourne was 600+. Tree's 7th-12th grade building isnt too far from Easton, not sure about their elementary school though.

WOW so true. For anyone working in an office, they will understand. Oh and I have a safe haven, it's a pair of bathroom's in the far corner of our department that no one ever uses b/c their so far away. Perfect.

all of the guys that come in for the show stay at those hotels in crosswoods, this whole weekend that place will be packed with people and cool cars

HA, yeah its sal. i used to work there way back when, my big bro still works there on occassion. Being from NY I can honestly say you will not find any more authentic "ny style" pizza than the flyin' pie. Lunch special is definly enough to fill you up too. Also, there's a Jersey Mikes next to the Verizon store off Henderson, also a Gyro shoppe right across the street thats real good too.

hrmm... CR drinking club on a wed night? I think that sounds like a great idea. W.O.W. !!! How do you listen at work? ive tried to figure it out but their site is a bit sketchy and i dont want anyone to think im looking at anything "bad", or for the sensor's to block me.
-
Thats what me and my brother do. We always go to spoonz pub off sawmill, but everytime we end up there it seems like we always hang out with the same people. so... we would meet up at my brothers place, buy a "cannon" bottle of goose or 3olives cherry, a case of beer and get shit faced. Even with chipping for pizza or whatever we want to eat you still only spend like 30$ for the whole night, whereas if i wouldve drank that much at a regular bar my tab would have easily been $80+. Evan what kind of shots did you order that cost you 6$ each? I can understand a bomb of some sort, b/c the red bull is so damn expensive, but usually if you stay with straight liquer shots they dont get too crazy. A good way to keep your tab down is to pay for each individual drink and not carry a tab. Personally I think its a pain in the ass but if you've got cash and you only tip 1$ per beer, in the end you spend less.. but maybe thats just me b/c i tend to over-tip.

"sounds like somebody has a case of the mondays"

True story, in any other business it might not be excuseable, but maybe understandable. With bars, the mark up on a bottle of beer, and 3oz shot, is rediculous especially if you consider the cost of raw materials and overhead. Then again you dont neccessarily go to a bar to get drunk, you go to a bar to be in a setting/have an atmosphere. If you really wanted to get drunk and that was your only goal buy a handle of well vodka and sit in your living room, garantee it will be cheaper.

If your girl is good looking enough to be considered for such jobs just get use to people getting shots of her cleavage. Its her job to look good and put a good image with a product. Maybe he was simply complaining you were there, did you have to be there?

True story, you picked a semi-rare car in high demand with a loyal aftermarket. Add to that your picky on the color and it makes your chances slim. Goodluck though.
