Maybe. I think though the bigger problem is that if there a bunch of detainees that are innocent and we let them go, they are going to be really, really pissed at us. There's potential there for having made new enemies where there were none and giving existing enemies even more reason in their minds to hate us even more.

Maybe this instead of holding them prisoner for however many years: Article 3 of the Geneva Convention, "Noncombatants, combatants who have laid down their arms, and combatants who are hors de combat (out of the fight) due to wounds, detention, or any other cause shall in all circumstances be treated humanely, including prohibition of outrages upon personal dignity, in particular humiliating and degrading treatment. The passing of sentences must also be pronounced by a regularly constituted court, affording all the judicial guarantees which are recognized as indispensable by civilized peoples." Maybe it's time people started looking at some of those prisoners as potentially innocent humans instead of painting them all as faceless, evil terrorists without that same rights we would demand. Maybe we should afford them with the same due process that we hold so dear in a manner that would go a long way in making ourselves look better as a country and less like hypocrites.

+1 we use silicone cases on all our phones definitely helps keeps them from breaking...and they feel kinda nice.

Granite is expensive and you have to remember while countertops are one of the single best investments in a kitchen you might not always make back the money you put in. Alternatives like quartz or cement can provide as high a return at a lower cost. Cement can sometimes be more expensive though. One of the most important things is to remember you just don't want the countertops to look like crap when you go to sell. Cracked or stained stone countertops are no better than cut up laminate. There are other green alternatives such as glass which look really nice, but they are expensive as well.

Definitely like it. My dad saw it and immediately wanted one. Hopefully he jumps all over it when they are available.

We've had mostly CFL bulbs int he house for years and they've been great. Have also been search for LED based for as long but they hard to find and when you can find something it's expensive.

Love that show. Way too much fun to watch.
