  1. Guys, hate to disagree but anytime dry rot is evident it is time to replace tires. 1. They are WAAY cheaper than plastic and/or getting casts cut off. 2. Peace of mind is the result. Instead of thinking of his tires constantly he can now simply enjoy riding. The tires went from being a potential liability to one allowing him to experience one of the greatest joys we can experience as a motorcyclist, NEW TIRES! Well, that and a clean faceshield along with it. And no traffic. And chicks in bikinis lining the route
  2. I'm interested in the same back protector. I have their combo chest and back protector ( the "Extreme Harness Flite" I believe it is called) but would like a price on just the back protector alone. It is great stuff!
  3. Hey Cosh Co boys, I've got a little wrenching to do before I can leave, to replace a defective Clear Alternatives integrated tail light/turnsignal unit. Don't want to hold anyone up but know the area very well and can perhaps catch up. I've ridden with Lincoln once, ride with Brian with the 1098 at times and I'm really looking forward to riding with you guys today. Anyone have a cell I can program in and perhaps catch up to you today? As mentioned I know the area well, grew up in Cooperdale and later Frazeysburg so if I know where you're at or possibly going I can find you. Used to work at Clows for a bit too, been all over those roads...
  4. Hola senior Mac! Long time no see man. How's everything going? Didn't really get to talk at the bike show.

  5. Professionally done, water-jet cut, 1/2 the weight of stock, looks great, cheaper than a Galfer wave rotor which are $149. Will sell for $75.00, might fit a 600 also. Came off a 2006 CBR1000RR, same one fits bikes from 2004-2009. Totally straight, not warped in the slightest. Will both increase acceleration and decrease unsprung weight on the rear wheel. Combine this with a hardened aluminum rear sprocket for even more gains in this area. A lighter rear wheel accelerates faster than a heavy one does.
  6. New, never installed. Didn't look right on the REPSOL. $55.00
  7. Straight, no problem with them at all, an extra set I have. Am unsure if they fit a cbr600rr as well.
  8. Do you need just the pegs themselves or the whole rearsets, and aren't the ones of a cBR1000RR the same ones?
  9. I have a brand-new set of black Stompgrip, never opened, for an 04-05 CBR1000RR. Would that work? I'll make you a good deal on it.
  10. It wasn't me! Could have been me in the past, tho. I drank way too much...
  11. We could all join the contest, then have our own contest for who accrues the most points.. Worst offender= Da Winnah!
  12. That's it, the terrorists have won. I DO have a CDL, have not used it for years but it was tough to get and I don't want to give it up, now I have to be subject to behavior modification (.02 is a tiny amount) because I can't drink 2 beers in a one-hour span and drive home, because now I'm a CRIMINAL and am subject to losing the best job I ever have had if I get a DUI. I've got a company car and a job where I drive a lot doing it. So for me, DUI is one-fifth the amount it used to be in a span of what, 6-8 years? So tell me things aren't getting out of hand. All the MADD people have to try to keep their jobs so they just keep on pushing to erode more of our freedoms. Let's find something they love and work on them. More than one quilt for each member of a family? PRISON TIME, you shouldn't have to sleep under more than one blanket!
  13. Stealthcat, I sent you a PM a while ago and never heard anything back. My girlfriend has a new one with 28 miles on it for sale. You interested?
  14. I'm a Scorpio also, but I do have ethics. Those all are pretty negative, dont'cha think? I do know Scorpios have tempers...
  15. I'm with you guys, also Dweezel's post about people waiting forever to shoot across two lanes. That should be reckless op on their part! I've had people give me the finger when I flash my lights at them after being nice, given them plenty of time waiting behind them on my bike in the left lane, and have literally ridden past them on the right quickly and given them a slam on their window with my fist, it makes me so mad. Flip me off when you're being the asshole, I'll gladly be one too. Ya gotta do it fast though, so they can't swerve and hit you with their right front fender. It really fucks them up! You gotta be on offense if you do that, though. Do it slowly you may end up road rash. West Virginia also has a law that you can't ride or drive in the left lane unless you're passing. We got pulled over once for it, all by ourselves in the middle of nowhere doing the speed limit. We were riding in the left lane to equalize tire wear from the crown in the road you always get on the left side of your tires from riding on two-lane roads. That's why you guys see me on the far left at times when we're on the interstate heading out of or back to town, so my tires get worn down more evenly.
