Yeah, I found that out the hard way, we normally show up to QS&L around 630, so I thought 645 would be alright for that place. It looked really small, but I've never been inside. How was the outcome on Monday, weather was perfect. Guess I'll try again next week.

I lived in Athens for 4 years, although I never went down, 2 of my friends did on blind corners. Hocking Hills is an amazing area for riding, but a lot of people don't like it due to the crummy road conditions on a lot of roads as well as the blind corners. I rode them for 4 years and scared myself way too many times, but got my head straight and kept my cool. Don't over-do yourself, now I have never ridden with any of you, but I've been riding for 7 years and don't consider myself very experienced either. Keep it safe this season and take your time on back roads that you've never ridden. If your riding buddies won't slow down or wait for you at the next road, forget it and find new people to ride with. Again, stay safe, we want to promote riding, and keep you riding!

The ERC is a good experience. Boring for a lot of it, but I did sharpen my slow riding, balancing and braking skills. I took it in 2005 and signed up to take it again this year, I recommend it!

I got the used rear brake set from ebay, but after I started it up one day and rode down the street, I had some rear brake pressure. I do need to install that used one I got, I keep putting it off since it's ok(but not twisty/track worthy).

That would have been a good looking bike. A comment about your friend with the yellow one that was overseas, I had a group of friends in a unit that was over in Germany for 18months also, they got back last Sunday...probably in the same unit. Quaker Steak & Lube is Wednesdays starting yesterday...a total of 5 bikes made it and left when the first snowflake hit. A few of us went up to grab some food in our cages. My bike doesn't handle well in the snow.
