I vote Fridays. Sundays almost always end up being longer all day rides that end well into the evening with my core group of riding buddies.

In fact, there was a decent restaurant right by Mid-Ohio that I ate at last week. That wouldn't be a bad choice for a first pick. It would be about halfway between Columbus and Cleveland.

Don't sell it. I had a Heritage Les Paul that I sold in college because I was always playing my acoustic, if I played at all. I now hate myself for it.

There are a couple of us in the akron/canton area that are finally starting to ride together. We're pretty much all around route 224 and route 91. There is a group ride on the 13th, you should come.

Hand signals and a pace comfortable for everyone will be discussed before heading out, show up with gas, no douchebaggery, etc.... If we have enough people, we may split into a fast group and a slow group. Post up if you are in. Also, the 356th does have a killer Sunday brunch, so you may want to think about showing up early and eating.

2 PM. Today. Speedway at 224 & 91 in Springfield. From there we'll ride up to VV to meet up with the Cleveland guys.

Here is an idea for a route. Meet/End at the 356th fighter Group. I'll be getting back from Miami some time that afternoon, and then I have a wedding reception to make an appearance at. If for some reason I can fly home early, I might make it down that way.

I managed to get a few words in edgewise whilst she stopped for air. Yea, its just outside of town there. They run a pretty good event. You'll get a good 200-300 rounds in a match. I've not been down there since their steel challenge in 06 and wouldn't mind going down.
