The commanded A/F in the PCM is 12.56. As you can see the A/F is relatively close to 12.5. I was suprised to say the least. I know that narrow band voltages in the 880mv get you a mid 12 a/f. 920 mv and more usually see an a/f in the 11's. With long term fuel trims less then 5%. It made good sense to see A/F's on the dyno close to what what was being commanded. Timing was left a tad on the conservative side for I did not know what the a/f would be like until we got dyno results. I adjusted the timing until it was knock free on a 3rd gear pull on the road. I am also told by the owner that the dyno operator did not see any knock as well. Along with A/F and timing adjustments, I made changes both the tranny shift schedule and shift firmness along with a reduction in torque management. I am pretty happy with my results for a street tune.

Hello all. For those of you who know me on a personal basis. You know that I make several trips a year to Wisconsin for both dyno shows and tuning. Well my services are once again needed for a couple customers. One is a highly modified GTO (1000 rwhp capable) and a 03/04 cobra. So you are asking why go so far just to tune a couple cars? Lets just say they make it worth my while. Right now the game plan is to leave this next sunday and either drive home wednesday or thrusday. Going to spend 2-3 days at a dyno shop who does hondas only to tune both these 2 cars plus any other domestics that he can get together for me. Only out of pocket expense would be extras that you wanting to purchase. Hotel, fuel, and food within reason would be on me. If you have some free time and want to get away you are welcome to go up with me. I would like the company. I usually find a way to make the trips fun.

I must admit I was pretty proud of her. My goal for her was a 13.99 by the end of the night. My best pass to date in the car is a 13.18 at 103 mph with a 1.84 60'. I did manage to go 104 mph last night in the cool air. However the best 60' I could get was a 1.92 which got me a 13.21. She did not heat the tires for any of her runs. I need to find a big parking lot so she can practice using her right foot on both the gas and brake pedal at the same time to do a burnout. Her best 60' of the night was a 2.12. Basically she would take it up to about 3 grand and drop the clutch. A little tire spin and she was on her way. Quoted from Lauren " This is the most sober fun I have ever had in my life"

Refresh my memory. I need to get my hands on the software. I am sure I can tune with it once I familarize myself with the software. Lauren made me proud. I was hoping to see low 14's by the end of the night. She wow'd me with a high 13 right out of the gate.

I am going to run it as long as I have cars to dyno. I miss the fri and sat nights dynoing until 3 in the morning...

Gears that is. Lauren, our friendly neighborhood Kenny and myself went to Kilkare tonight. This was her first time ever racing. Her first pass in the Mystic was a 13.84 at 97 mph. She made a total of 5 passes and ran a best of 13.69 at 102.31 mph. She was barking the tires going into second with a little side to side action of the rear end. I think she is hooked on drag racing.
