  4. Was posted over on Columbus Racing. Figured I would share it over here.
  5. What is more impressive is 1000+ ponies on "Corn on the Cob" :fuckyeah:
  6. Small World. And here they both had GTO's
  7. I honestly do not know what you would consider fast for a bike or a car. A 7 second bike or a 8 second takes skill to make either one happen.
  8. Rumor on the street is Mr. Teasley charges $1,500.00 a day before expenses to make passes on a clients bike. Rumor is he travels all over the country for a number bike owners and race teams doing this very thing. I imagine Dover might be able to confirm this.
  9. Comparing Bikes to Cars. Nothing to compare really. If it was that easy racing a "fast" bike everyone would be doing it.
  10. Looks like a golden opportunity for someone to make a little extra money for xmas.

  12. As a tuner I am going to chime in. I have seen the car in person and up close. Let me say it is a work of art. The guys at IPS have one awesome car. I hope I am not over stepping my bounds here. Given the power of the car I imagine it would take a number passes starting with a 1/4 mile and working up to a mile to get the car dialed in. I could be wrong but I imagine Patrick would spend a lot time getting the car dialed in. Not only to make a bunch of power. But to make it live for a mile. The power of this car in my opinion is insane and the tune up has to be spot on to be under that kind of stress. To be 100% honest I wish I could look over Patrick shoulder to see what all is involved in tuning a car of this power. Makes 1000hp street car look like a walk in the park. Obviously the car would not need to be on kill to out run the cars at the top of this already. I could see Mark's mph being faster in the half mile then all the other cars in the mile. Congrats to Mark and the IPS team for their success with the car.
  13. <---Has friends on CR. :fuckyeah:
  14. Hell is going to freeze over when. Jones buys a Mustang Dyno Brian buys a Audi Anthony buys another mustang. A 2000 hp rwd lambo runs over an awd lambo. Rotaries become more reliable then a cummins diesel. All the trolls leave CR. Gas goes for less then a dollar a gallon. Mcdonalds becomes a healthy place to eat. Jobs come back from China to the US. The word LOL not being used on CR anymore.... Yes I have a lot of time on my hands right now. At home sick with the flu after my mom leaving my house to the hospital for pneumonia. (She just had major open heart surgery.) Carry on Jones with your thread. LOL
  15. I am hoping my memory serves me right.
  16. That is one of the great things of you racing your 98 car compared to doing a new Camaro. Not feeling guilty about killing a warranty on a brand new car. I should have made a video of "test drive" on the mystic upgrading to a TR 3650. The car made it about a 100 yards from the lift and then I proceeded to try and break it. Best part about it is I did not have to worry about a warranty.
  17. Your sig is a bit outdated. Please update it. :lolguy:
  18. Pretty much the same scenerio as using the launch control on the GTR's. Pretty sure Nissan kills the warranty if you use it. It does not sound like you abused the trans in your car. With that being the case I do not see why ford did not address it. I have friend in Dayton who works for GM and says yay or nay on questionable warranty claims. If they believe the car is "abused" they will cancel the warranty. So what is abuse? Spirited shifting without barking the tires? I would not call it abuse. Now if you have Brian doing a burnout after side stepping the clutch at 6k followed by a pass powershifting and never letting off the gas. I would call that abuse and call it a voided warranty. I would think these computers are smart enough to see a burnout. No spinning of the front tires along with a sudden increase in tranny speed from the engine being over reved. Guess I steered a bit off topic regarding your situation Anthony. Sounds like you had a lemon to begin with. It is unfortunate not every situation is the same. You have yours where ford refuses to take care of it. On the other hand we have members on this forum who have gotten their trannies replaced under warranty after pounding the shit out of them over and over again.
  19. Since Brady has modified, tuned, and raced his car I think we should hear what he thinks of them.
  20. Agreed. Like I said if I had one I would go with a trans from one of the aftermarket companies.
  21. Does this mean stuff from China is junk?
  22. Sorry to hear that Anthony. With you being a GM guy I can not blame you for wanting the car gone. I guess it is one of those things where if the wheel is not broken do not fix it. GM has been good to you and you should stick with it. I am in the same boat as far as my liking to fords. I really like the new ecoboost platform. Every time I see a new Fusion I want one to DD. I imagine it is only a matter of time for I will need a four door car with a back seat in the near future. Hope you enjoy the new truck.
  23. C5's are the new used foxbody in terms of fun for the price. Even though I have a corral of mustangs I did managed to sneak a 02 Z into the mix.
