  1. Maybe I should put him on the back of my bike and push him off the back of it at 10 mph. See how he likes hitting the black top. If that does not bother him try 20 mph.
  2. Please excuse my grammar, english, and writing skills. Now on with the suggestions.
  3. Cliffs - He is 17 years old. He has never ridden a motorcycle He thinks because he has a quad he can get on a busa and haul ass. Has no respect for the law. I am trying really hard to convince him that 250 - 500 cc bike is more then enough to have fun on and to learn how to ride safely on the road. He reminds me that my first bike was a 1000. However the difference is I was 29 when I got my first street bike and have owned and driven a number of cars that will out accelerate a liter bike. In other words, I had a lot of respect for my bike and took baby steps before trying anything stupid. The sad part is I think he has the means to be able to buy one. I guess I will try talking to his parents. Maybe he needs to meet Brian who suffered injuries to his spine and now rides with the help of training wheels. Anyone have any suggestions for me to discourage him getting a busa?

  8. Thanks to Gunner for the reply and thanks to those friends and customers for the continued support.
  9. James, First off I owe you an apology. I did a search using James and found your e-mail sent on the 7th of September. That is same day I had my mother down at Mount Carmel Hospital for the 3rd time in 2 months due to her heart. She is finally getting the open heart surgery that she needs tomorrow up at the Cleveland Clinic. I have had a number of sleepless nights dealing with my ill Mother while working 7 days a week at the dyno. More then likely I had opened your e-mail from my phone and forgot to save it as new to respond when I got home. I do not expect my excuses and family issues to earn your business. However, I wanted to make a public apology in this thread for others to see that I did not let this e-mail go not responded on purpose. My friends on this forum know of the hell I have been through with my mother the last 12 months.
  10. Feel free to forward the e-mail me again or get me a copy of your e-mail address so I can search for it. Again, I am sorry I did not reply to your e-mail. The reason you did not get a response is because I never saw it.
  11. James, I just went through my old e-mails both read and unread and I do not see an-mail regarding a 650. One thing to consider when looking for a tuner is find out how much detail they pay attention to the tune. If you find a shop who only tunes for WOT then that is what you are going to get. A bike that makes a dyno number and has fueling issues at part throttle cruising. My cell is 614-778-8984. Cost to do a map on your bike would be $250.00. I do not think you are going to find another tune as detailed as mine for the money.
  12. If it is still around come Thrusday I will try and break away in between tune sessions. Cleveland bound tomorrow in the AM
  13. Looks like this guy has even bigger balls given the technology they had back then compared to now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8RRkMsHOMU
