I don't know what all the GM guys are bitching about the Vert pulled a 1.70 60' on burnt up drag radials. The best 60' ever with it. Best pass of the day with it as a 12.12 at 114. The best pass of the zx12 was dad at 185lbs. 10.33 at 136 with 1.88 60' and then with my 310lbs. 10.65 at 133 with a 1.86 60' , though I did pull a 1.82 60' and ran a 10.70 at 133. thanks Ant for setting it up i had a blast and was able to get over 16 runs on the bike myself.

I had someone on it the other day....not too low, just can't take speed bumps. The radiator is off the bike and should be getting fixed today.

For those that care or wonder. I tore my mustang apart to paint and make look better with anticpation of building an engine this spring. Well, I actually found an engine that I bought and have been waiting on the car instead. So the car is getting close to being done, wanted to make Norwalk with it but, not looking like it. At least its getting real close. The two tone part for the main body should be sprayed this week. Then just hood, bumpers, and ground effects. So here's the pics.

I had 26 x10's and coated the inside with soapy water, then let them dry. They held air pretty well for a while, helps prevent the air from leaking out the sidewall.

I ran better than that last year with my 17" rims and street tires,,,,,,

Much less what i ran on my slicks

Get you car together so we can line them up, Just realize I was busy this winter also.

Hadn't heard stock motors were doing that. That sucks, I haven't done it yet though lol.

 

I believe they went to 10 threads on the heads in 03, you should be fine.

I know of one you prolly get for free...been sitting a while its all there though. Don't know if it was covered or not...its been outside.

My little 347 last year went a best of 10.32 @129 and many 10 sec passes to follow through the year. Would of went faster but converter slip owned me. Hopefully by June my car will be back together and then i will run all LS1's who want some. Already have the new motor just waiting on paint so I can get it back and put it all back together.
