On the twin the rear cylinder was super easy, but the front was a real pain. I'm thinking an inline might be more difficult. I also found this on my bike. What is could be.
I don't know if you saw the thread, but I've decided to check the valve clearance on by bike this winter. There are approx 8 pix with more to come. I'm about to order the shims. The shim's are like $6.50 apiece so I've measured the clearance like 5 times now. Pretty soon, be posting the pix with the exhaust cam removed. I've also decided to do the PAIR removal mod. Later twin fans
I'm currently in the process of checking the valve clearance on the RC. This is the first time I have done a valve check. So far it's a pretty easy process, but any hints/tips would be helpful. So far I’m finding the tolerances on the negative side of the recommended clearance. I’m posting some pix of the process thus far. I build a 7x10x7 enclosure and had to sweep it a few times. This has become a problem nation wide. The true issue if the kids are charged and convicted is the possibility the might have to register as a sex offender for 10 years. If I remember correctly the pictures have to be of a lewd and lascivious nature.
