  1. My bike and my life are not for "trying" something. I will wait until its proven or dis-proven but like I said from a physics standpoint, they wouldnt work on high RPM machines. At least IMO. People are confusing "balancing" with having a flat spot or "out of round" area of tire for the beads to fill to offset the difference in weight from the other side and that is not the case. The beads will just roll around in your tire until the RPM's reach a fast enough speed to overcome gravity and hold them to the wall of the tire. And that place they stay at RPM is not necessarily where they need to be from a weight perspective.
  2. Why do you all think that centripetal force will always cause the beads to go to the unbalanced area? Physics says that once the speed of rotation is enough to hold the object in place, it will hold it in the spot where it is once it reaches the necessary rotational speed to overcome the weight of the object and gravity (1G). AKA. it will hold those beads on a flat spot just as easy as it would hold them on a rounded spot.
  3. Big truck tires, Sure.. Motorcycle tire running at 15,000RPM @ 160+mph.. You must be an idiot. DONT USE THEM IN YOUR MOTORCYCLE!!!
  4. Its become a bit of a hobby for me.. hahaha
  5. Dont worry, I didnt have to black out my face on this one, since the camera flash did it for me. I had to use my camera to take a picture of the actual photo which sits on my TV since the original pic was taken long ago before I had a digital camera. This pic was taken probably around 2001-2002 on a trip to MI. If you notice the dark spot on my shirt by his rear hoof, that is deer piss.
  6. Fawns that age and size when scared will just drop and sit and try not to be seen. I once scared one in its bed standing and it just dropped and laid there. I even walked over and picked it up and it never moved. It was so scared that it pissed all over me though. I actually have a picture of me holding it if no one believes me.
  7. It was a country road, you should expect these things. Glad youre ok but pull your head out of your ass and be responsible for your own riding.. Prime example of someone wanting to blame someone else for their own mistakes.

    Ar-10

You guys do realize he said AR-10 right?.... As in 7.62 and not 5.56. The majority of those looking at doing a .308, use the DPMS as their starting ground. I've heard rumors that the Armalites are problematic but thats not confirmed.
  9. Details of what? The trip or that someone fell? Either way, I dont have any details other then we are going soon and someone fell there recently.
  10. When I open my zipper I get the same feeling.
  11. Depends if your phone has Sense on it. Yes Froyo 2.2 will run on almost any Android but Sense UI must be specifically written for the individual devices.
  12. Where do you live and what are you looking to do.
  13. You lose.. I saw Cory's timer which reported a 45 second lap time, and a 1:16, one time. I saw the pic of the timer so it much be true.. Right..I even think you were there the day it happened
  14. Hit up AndroidForums or forums.XDA or Unrevoked. All will have idiots guides for rooting. You will probably want to do the Toast Root method (At least for Evo). Im not sure that 2.2 is completely up and running so just do some searching. Here are the steps for rooting the new HTC Evo. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=690762 http://www.unrevoked.com/ Google is your friend. http://www.google.com/search?q=root+site%3Aandroidforums.com&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
  15. Yeah, you probably just got some of the aftermath of it somewhere. Trust me, if you have been in the direct vicinity of it, you would know it for sure. I got hit dead in the face with the OC crap or whatever the police carry. Not fun.
  16. Uhm, trackday times are not posted anywhere.. Thats my point. You still have to rely on the person to tell you what it was. How else do you think people are getting their times anyway??? Technical fix but .. the transponder generally sits on the wall at the track where someone has brought one. The rider, has the "receiver" aka the lap timer.
  17. NO... and as an FYI. my track bike is an 05-750
  18. Agree'd,. Dumb thread.. It only takes into account those with a race license and not the track day riders who may or may not be just as fast if not faster.
  19. My girl and I are doing this very soon, tickets already purchased. FYI, someone fell 50ft there about a week ago.
  20. Ill be honest, it appears you do good work and Im a fan of CF but... Im more a fan of CF parts and not CF wrapped parts if possible. Now if you could get in to replicating parts only in CF, I would think you would do well assuming its cost effective for both you and the customer.
  21. Dont forget comedian Eddie Izzard's 43 marathons in 51 days http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/8256589.stm Still impressive.. I suck at running.
  22. When are you going to learn about Wells, and Septic Systems? Oh, and Ive got some "services" I need pricing on. Tell the wife I said hello... hahahahaah
  23. If you dont have the money for an AR15, you sure as hell dont have the money for an M110/MK11/SR-25. Not to mention the money to feed 7.62 through it.
