  1. Depends on what your going for and where your going.. for work or pleasure?. Do you want to stay in a hostel or hotel? What country(s) Ive done both. Feel free to give me a call if you want.
  2. Yeah, I think it will be just fine. Hell, there probably ready to retire the damn thing they way the govt builds new shit and keeps it secret for 20 years before letting the public know.
  3. I hate and I mean I really HATE to agree with putty on anything but unfortunately the bastid has a valid point this time.
  4. CVG? Say it aint so.. hahahah.
  5. How far do you want to shoot How good is the glass. Internal Adjustment Range something between 50-100MOA of adjustment is good. How much magnification do you want Eye relief Is the scope known to loose its zero over time. Do you want tactical knobs on it? Do you want side parallax adjustment or front. The best advice I can give is to suggest to go out and read a bunch of reviews on some of the tactical shooting webpages or optics webpages. After reading those, you will figure out more of what you want and what it will cost to get the options you are interested in. There is no need to spend extra money on something if you will never use it. By the same means, if you will eventually use it then you can probably save yourself some money be spending a bit extra up front to keep yourself from having to buy another scope later. Its all up to you and boils down to what you want to be able to do with the scope. The scope I would like to have is a Nightforce and is around $1600.. I unfortunately dont have the money to buy one at this point. And that is nowhere near the cost of some of the more expensive scopes. An S&B or USO can run upwards of $2500 Here are some examples. This is the one I want The 8x32x56 ITS BADASS!!!! http://www.nightforceoptics.com/SCOPES_OVERVIEW/8-32x56___12-42x56/8-32x56___12-42x56.html And here are the options for the reticles I could choose from for that scope. http://www.nightforceoptics.com/RETICLES_OVERVIEW/reticles_overview.html
  6. I believe allot of this work came from one of the projects where the goal was to create something for cleaning up oil spills. The result was that they created bacteria that would eat the crude oil as food and during the digestive process, the resultant feces became a non pollutant. Sounds like they just re-engineered a similar process except that this time the feces is actually oil.
  7. Ok, that makes more sense. I read some info on them and some reviews and all I can say is that hopefully you have better luck then most of the people that have bought them and allot of those people were putting them on airguns and .22's and they had huge issues with the scopes not holding zero. I couldnt imagine what a higher power rifle recoil would do to one of them based on what I have read.
  8. Never heard of Zoss, did you mean zeiss?... Do you have a link? 10x40x60??? something doesnt sound right
  9. Welcome and your supermoto looks fun as hell. Cleveland sucks ass though. Just my opinion
  10. Look at his price range and what he is looking to do.
  11. I do it all the time and have never been questioned. I assume we are still talking about the removing of the firearm when getting out of a vehicle right??
  12. Tasco's are bottom of the barrell IMO. You could always check out Millett, Falcon Optics Menace or Merlin series, SWFA Super Sniper, Bushnelle, Nikon, The more MOA of elevation the scope has, the better for shooting long range. A 10x scope is fine and an 16x, 18x, 22x or above will be plenty to see at long range.. Any of those scopes will get you to 400 yards easily and you dont need a high power scope for a 400 yard shot. The military used to, and may still use a 10x scope for out to 1000 yards.
  13. I shot it at 12x and 24x for the mile target. My 308 doesnt have the ability to reach to 1 mile but I could see the target fine to take a shot if I would have had a different gun. I know you say price doesnt matter but give a price range your willing to spend. It really does matter, trust me, it makes a big difference as to your options.
  14. Ohio has an open carry law so they technically cant do shit to you for removing your weapon to follow a establishment law of no carry.
  15. It really depends on what your looking to spend and the options you want. Things to consider. The big ones are below. What range do you want to be able to shoot out to and with what caliber rifle. (This is one of the biggest questions as it helps to answer how much magnification, elevation adjustment, and possible price options) How much internal elevation adjustment does the scope have? Do you want a variable power scope? If so, how much magnification do you want. You can get a straight 10x or 20x scope of certain models fairly reasonable. What is your price range. (Dont forget you will need to include a base and rings.) Answer those questions and I can help a bit more. You can get scopes from a few hundered dollars to a few thousand depending on what your looking for.

I cant believe you called an EMO, Sir.. WTH.
  18. Comfortable enough to wear all the time. Go try some on and then you will know. Everyone likes something different. IWB, MOB, Ankle, etc. The point is that you want a holster that gives you support for the firearm, concealability, quick draw ability without excessive time to remove, aim, and fire and without sweaping excess people with the muzzle,. IWB is best and safest IMO
  19. Like Putty said. IWB. Inside the waistband. aka inside the pants hip holster.
  20. Me shooting another guys Barrett 50 yesterday. This is the youtube video in case the embed still isnt working (RwMlVzwKz6w) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwMlVzwKz6w
  21. Shoulder holsters are bad for CCW.. Mkay?? They wont let you use one in the class and tell you not to for your carry as well. The problem is that when you draw your firearm, you end up sweaping absolutely everyone in front of you and most times to the side as well. DONT USE ONE FOR CCW..

I have one in my wallet.
  23. Im totally going to try all of these.. These types of things are pretty cool.. Just goes to show that it really is mind over matter.
  24. The funny thing is that the rejection letter appears to be signed by a woman.
  25. Ive shot bolt action 50's before and the semi auto barrett doesnt kick too bad at all to be honest. The semi auto action really absorbs allot of the energy. As far as hitting things goes. I was hitting targets out to 1000 yards. I crono'd my rounds when I got there and had a drop chart printed up for the days conditions so it was pretty good. I didnt have enough elevation in my scope to get to 1150 yards.
