  1. wow... I think that just convinced me to order a new set of boots.... Seriously... I was thinking about it and that did it.
  2. Lets clarify... To the person that asked which QSL.... It is the one Polaris Parkway just WEST of the I-71 exit about 1 block. The Shell Gas station that everyone meets at is just EAST of the I-71 Exit about 1 block.
  3. Unless your racing and using them all the time, just grab a set of pliers from harbor freight.. they have 2 models. One is 7.99 and the other is 9.99. the only difference is that one is a 6" set of pliers and the other is a 9" plier. I have read many comments on the WERA board about the different models. You can break 3 of the Harbor Freight ones for the same cost of the others. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=45341 http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=45340 Pony wants 24.99 for theirs http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/product.asp/ImageName/8403816.jpg/Brand/EMGO/Class2/Garage%20and%20Shop/Class3/Tools/Class1/STREET%20PRODUCTSw
  4. So you wouldnt be mad if he smashed into the back of your mom or dad or some other relation?
  5. Its just a safety measure. Bolts have a tendency to vibrate loose so safety wiring them prevents that. As far as the extra washer comment.. What they were talking about was the rubber O ring that is already on your oil filter when you buy them. sometimes during an oil change, when you remove the filter, the rubber O ring will rip off the filter and stick to the engine. Then if your not paying attention, when you put the new oil filter on, you end up having 2 O rings on there and the magical leaks and oil sprays soon follow.
  6. Because if you do it right, it keeps the plug, filter, bolts from rotating in the direction that would loosen them.
  7. To each their own but Ive made this trip a few times and your not going to find enough twisty roads to to keep you from riding the center of your tires 98% of the time. Once your there, you will either love it or hate it if your not comfortable with twisties. The scenery is great though.

  9. retawddddddddeeeeeddddddd... Smash into the back of my family or friends vehicle and the accident will be the least of his worries if he survives the crash.
  10. I would not want to ride a bike on that trip.. It is bad enough in a truck.. Not to mention you will put some nice flat spots in your tires on the long boring highway ride.. Doesnt make sense to me to flatten out a tire while heading to the twisties..
  11. Im not posting mine.. Either my math sucks or Ive done some shitty things in my life...
  12. Find a Bull... Ive jumped about 6 times already.. Its a good time.. I quit working on my class A license when I started my flight training.. There was only so much money to spend and I had to make a choice.. Also, I would recomend to anyone that they should go up and take an aerobatics flight sometime. Nothing better then loops, rolls, hammerheads, and inverted flight to get the heart pumping.
  13. I remember when that happened. I went to UD so I think everyone in Dayton watched that vid numerous times.
  14. Ive jumped at Green County quite a few times. I really like the people there.
  15. So why are you sinking all that money into the bike if your going to sell it at the end of the season?
  16. To be honest, I really dont worry about top end at all. My reference wasnt really from a loosing top end stand point but more from a youre going to be shifting like crazy and winding out in spots you would rather not be wound out in at the track. I am still running stock gearing on both my bikes, 750 and 1K. I went +2 on the rear on the dirtbike just to make the bottom end more snappy. Not to mention, I dont need to run 90mph on my dirtbike. a -1+2 setup is going to make your bike pretty snappy in the bottom end. If your only going to to 1-2 trackdays, its probably not a big deal at all. I was just throwing the infor out there as an FYI.
  17. Depending what tracks you are running, the -1,+2 may not be ideal for that track. Just something to keep in mind.
