  1. It is not that hard to do to replace that stator.. Pull the cover. unplug/unscrew the stator and replace it. when you pull the cover, it will be magnetized and held in place so watch your fingers because it can pinch the hell out of them..
  2. Yeah it is too small but I think he has "access" to a larger one.. Not sure if he likes doing wheels though.
  3. The engineer in you should realize that hitting a pothole at 70mph is going to involve more force then your front tire hitting the ground from a wheelie from 4-5 ft in the air.

The news said that the missile DID hit and destroy the fuel tank about 130 miles over the ocean.... I hope that shit burns up in the atmosphere.
  5. I watched it and took pics also.
  6. If Lizard is in your crew, I wouldnt count on him.. I have a feeling he may slip and fall soon...
  7. What... I doubt you could touch the ground on his 250 let alone a 450.. dirtbikes are a different world yota.. you will see if you ever come ride mine.. I guarantee it will throw you quicker then your duc will. Im sure Drew will attest to this as well.
  8. In other words.. Powder coated... There you go trying to sound all edumacated and stuff.. If it gets hit with a stone and chips, it will still rust though.. Did any of you happen to see the news the other morning.. The stupid reporter lady tried the same thing.. She said the following while referring to a salt truck driving by. "There goes one of the trucks now putting down the Sodium Chloride to help melt the ice." She made herself sound like such a dumb ass by saying that instead of just saying SALT...

  10. I would say get an already prepped track bike 600 from the Wera board... you will get bored with the SV quick since you are used to dragging. Not to mention at 200lbs, you will probably have a bit more fun on the 600.
  11. I would be interested to see how well it holds up to the elements.. I bet rust loves that thing.
  12. When I went to college, I was 175lbs,, In college, I jumped up to 245lbs due to all the greasy foods, drinking, smoking and lack of exercise... The summer before senior year of college I got sick of all the girls telling me I was like their big brother when I tried asking them on a date so I dropped 65lbs in one summer.. Ever since then, Ive been working out and Im in better shape now and stronger then I have ever been.
  13. They have had more then 1 episode. http://mythbustersresults.com/episode73
  14. They did test pretty much everything on mythbusters. None of them worked.. and just blocking out 1 number wont keep you from getting a tix as all they have to do is run the rest and get the car makes and models and do a simple comparison.
  15. looks good.. now all he needs to do is send out the mid-pipe and have it coated by jet-hot... I think thats their name. I have a CF can so mine is already dark... I have thought about shortening it though. Just havent got around to it.
  16. Either way.. you had a Crankcase ventilation problem.
  17. I spoke with him also and he said he would like a cd with a bunch of pics on it from this past summer..
  18. Your wrong... One is just a plain drill with torque settings.. Regular Drill - 25 different torque settings with the max around 36N The other is a Impact drill. There is another one that is a hammer drill.. All 3 serve different purposes and function differently as to how they apply torque and impact.
  19. He powdercoated the rearsets and passenger pegs on both my bikes... Good Work..
  20. Not sure of what your saying... I posted links to both the regular hex ends and the ball end style.. As far as the drill goes, I have a drill that has a ton of torque settings on it with the lowest settings probably around 7lbs, however for the small stuff, I always just use a ratchet.. I dont use my impact drill on my bike at all. I guess I should clarify. I have an impact drill which has NO torque settings on it and a regular drill which has adjustable settings. I only use the drill when it involves REMOVING long bolts. When it comes to putting them back in, I set the torque on the lowest setting just to get them in, then I hand tighten with the ratchet or torque wrench. I was looking at Impact WRENCHES the other day when I went to buy the worm clamps for the resevoir install.... LIZARD... fack you for winning that argument... Impact Drill Regular Drill - 25 different torque settings with the max around 36N
