  1. Yes those suits and suits like that did bring on new legislation. There are plenty of "protect me from myself" laws out there. I would have though you knew that but feel free to google for them.
  2. Ahh.. They werent meant to care what you think. They were meant to prove a point which they did. The guy today was an idiot for riding in this weather. FACT.
  3. Really? Its done all the time big guy. i.e. Hot Liquid warnings on McDonalds coffee. Common sense says coffee is hot but yet they still got their ass sued for no warning. Autopilot button on RV. - Yup a woman sued because she pushed the button and went in the back and laid down while the RV crashed. Cancer warnings on ..well, just about everything. And there are hundreds more examples.
  4. And 1000RR seems to be the only one to get it. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
  5. I think allot of you are missing the point here. Just because you are allowed to do something doesnt mean that you should do it. At some point you need to have some common sense in the things you do during your life. If you dont give a shit, then why should I? This type of mentality is no different than all the kids these days that feel like they are entitled to shit. Like I said, Common sense people, otherwise I guess I really shouldnt give a shit if you crash and get run over because obviously neither do you.
  6. Heres how I break it down, When its cold, I put a coat on, When its hot I turn on the AC, When its snowing and icy out I dont press my luck trying to ride a vespa Funny that casper posted in another thread about driving around and puling people out of ditches. hmm. I guess that means he's prepared for this type of weather right. Do you really think a scooter with 10inch wheels and dog shit for tread should be out riding in this? How about this. If he crashed and I ran him over in my truck, whos fault is it? Guessing that even at the minimum required clearances, his 400 lbs wont slide as far as my truck will when I try and stop on the ice to avoid driving over top him. And I would bet money that any copy could site him for wrecless op today.
  7. Comparison. My grandma is almost blind in 1 eye and has a hard time seeing at night. She has her license but to be safe to herself and others, she wont drive at night, wont drive in bad weather, and wont drive outside of town. If this is his only transportation, then find another way to get where your going when your travel makes you a danger to everyone around you.
  8. I can but Im smarter then that. There is a difference between being capable of something and putting yourself in a situation where you a danger to yourself and everyone else on the road. If you would have saw the way he was sliding maybe it would make more sense. Either way, there is a point where the danger of doing something outweighs the capability to do it. He was a fool for riding that thing today and if I were a cop I would have given him a ticket for wreckless op because he was acting in a way that was a danger to him and everyone else around him.
  9. I followed this guy for a while down 33 today during the inclement weather. Now dont get me wrong, I dont mind the Enduro style riders at all or the guys that do the extreme trips all over the world. The reason they are different in my book is because they have bikes that are setup for it. This guy was basically riding a Vespa in the shitty weather. Considering everything was basically ice and we all know those shitty little scooter tires dont have a pot to piss in for tire tread, I feel comfortable saying that this guy isnt the sharpest knife in the drawer. I was actually going to try and stop him and offer to put his scooter in the bed of my truck and give him a lift but I didnt get a chance to. Once I saw him, I started to follow him at a safe distance just because I didnt want someone else to smash into the guy. Ive got video of him and his lil scooters ass end is dancing like a dirtbike. Thoughts? Another while I was following.
  10. Ive done the movies a few times myself while traveling for work.
  11. Thats dirt money.. youre getting screwed.
  12. I traveled quite a bit for work. I would always hit the gym after work for about 2 hrs and then go get food. Most of the time, I would just bring it back to my room to eat while watching TV. I would make sure that at least once a week or so, to go to a bar to eat and sit at the bar and hold conversations with whoever was working. It helps when you travel allot. It doesnt bother me to eat alone and I actually prefer it when I'm traveling for work. FYI, you should talk to your company about your per diem rates because $20 for dinner doesnt even cover the Gov calculated per diem rates for most cities in the US.
  13. Uhmm no. Current round is .308 not a 300winmag. The military has been looking for a longer range cartridge for a number of years now. Modularity is an additional plus.
  14. Buy it Casper and write it off as an OR business expense.
  15. Looks like the Remington MSR. If im not mistaken, its a swap barrel system available in .308, 300 WinMag and 338LM. Here is a better pic.
  16. +1 Ive had the same pair of carhart bibs and jacket since 95. Still going strong.
  17. well, maybe we can still be friends then.

  19. PM me your cell and Ill send pics.
  20. Anyone know of someone that can do engraving on a stainless tube in the columbus area and approximate price? FYI, They will need to perform the engraving while I am onsite and in the room with them. Sorry but this is a legal requirement and I am legally required to be there during the engraving process and am not allowed to leave anything if Im am not there. Notice I said a steel tube so they will have to be able to engrave on a surface that is not completely flat. Perhaps a place that has one of those laser engravers? Looking to get something engraved this week.
  21. Those used to be standard in the older version of MS Office.
