  1. Ive been warning Shawna for over a year now that she should let me kill the ones in her back yard that try and "play" with her husky. Now that its getting colder, expect to see this activity more often. Coyotes are getting bad around Ohio. Check out this balsy little bastard. Almost cool until you think about it and see him when he starts nipping at the boots. Then think about what a few coyotes could do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqVE9qfg7yI
  2. I figured it was the mace in your eyes from the last time you tried to have sex that was causing the tears.
  3. No work. People underestimate the capability of almost all firearms. I was shooting at a rock approximately 20"x20". I didnt say I was shooting 1 hole groups.
  4. Someone send me the details. The lady and I may show.
  5. Welcome.. Another rider, racer, hunter, archer. You'll fit in well. Vortex huh.. Im planning on ordering one of their Viper PST's just as soon as they are released. What to help a brother out? Im not a competitive archer but would always love someone else to shoot with or learn a few things. I do participate in long range shooting competitions. 0-1200 yards and sometimes 1760+ yards. (1 mile+) FYI. Vortex has been making quite a name for themselves in the long range community. Especially after the release of their Vortex Razor which I wish I had the coin to buy. Also if you ever need any gunsmithing done, let me know as one of my buddies is probably one of the best smiths in ohio.
  6. http://beckerexhibits.wustl.edu/did/20thcent/index.htm Nuff said.. No one proposed that the woman may be a bit off her rocker as well talking to herself. Also the comments said it best First caution: it's a hearing aid device. Second caution: film maker (it's what they do, folks) He owns a production company. The first minute is self promotion about award winning films and company name. Like sending a resume to George Lucas. Well it worked. It is on Youtube and the CBC news. and probably a host of other shows. Someone will figure out that it's a sham. But not before he gets his 15 minutes of fame, which may lead to something bigger for him. Good marketing job sir!
  7. Like the title says, Im looking for some recommendations on quality window tinting places in columbus. This is not me, its for a friend. Actual experience with the shops work is a plus.
  8. Nothing like short notice..
  9. HAHA.. I love that they always ask what ammo your shooting like the gun only likes steak and not chicken. Always trying to find some excuse other then what the real problem is.
  10. When I got it back, the repair sheet said they replaced the disconector and extractor and said they test fired it for 60 rounds without issue. I managed to make it to about round 25 before it started acting up again. I dont know why they replaced the extractor but they should have replaced the disconector, trigger, and hammer.
  11. Grab the P22. I was shooting a buddies this past Sunday. I was shooting it suppressed with a SWR Spectre at 100 yards offhand and you dont want to be standing there. Its allot more accurate then you would think.. Also dispatched a possum with it.
  12. Pass.. Not as many fun little extras for the buckmark. Not to mention other reasons I wanted the Ruger. I will also probably pick up a P22 in the near future for another toy.
  13. Ruger MKIII Competition Slabside . I just got a fluke that had some out of spec internals.
  14. Sent it back for a second time yesterday!!!.. Not happy with whats going on but their customer service has been top notch.
  15. Hmmm may have to make a trip on sat. Especially considering I have a bunch of additional coupons from them for this month only since it was my birthday and I just bought a pistol from them.
  16. Happy Bday even though you didnt wish me one. hahahah Dont do anything I wouldnt do.
  17. Everyone is overreacting like a bunch of little kids.. WTF. you act like you've never seen wind or rain before.
  18. No another one of these fake stories..
  19. +1 true statement. Uprights dont require a dolly. They all have a peg on the backside that is used as a grip and on the front you lift under the keyboard. Ive probably moved 50 or so pianos while I worked for the moving company and we always used just 2 people on uprights unless they had to come up or down stairs then it was 3-4 people at most. Baby grand pianos, we used a piano board and removed the legs and then straps to carry. Grand pianos are a completely different son of a bitch to move and I suggest hiring people that have the right equipment / skill to move them.
  20. Im not saying they are perfect by any means and almost every major manufacturer has sent out a well known quality product at some point that has had defects at one time or another. The fact is that its a piece of equipment that should be respected, serviced, and maintained and without that happening there are potential consequences. Be smart, handle firearms safely, and rely on yourself instead of someone or something else and you will be ahead of the game. Yes accidents happen and defects occur in products but ultimately its a numbers game. 10 million rifles vs 70 (or whatever the # is ) "accused" problems and you do the math. Your chances of winning the lottery, getting hit by lightning or getting in a car accident are higher. People just need to be smart and accept responsibility for their own actions. This country has gone to hell because of people trying to place all blame on someone or something else and not taking responsibility for their own stupidity or actions. Those are my thoughts on whats wrong the majority of the country today and they wont be changing anytime soon.
  21. Do you really think that all of these people didnt adjust it themselves? I find it funny that they show "police snipers" who have the skill to adjust it and yet have issues. Kinda weird huh. As far as service goes, how are you not able to make the correlation that devices require service. If you dont maintain your oil, brakes, etc, you will eventually have problems, I think you can at least agree on that. Why do you think a trigger should be bullet proof for its entire lifespan? Come on man, Just think about it. Its a piece of equipment designed to be adjustable and serviceable and therefore requires that. If you cant understand that then there is no reason to waste anymore time talking to you about it. I bet you service the hell out of your track bike but yet you expect to be able to toss your guns around in your car, the field, etc, and expect them to be tip top all the time no matter what beating they take or environmental conditions they are subjected to. Do you even own any Rem 700's? because if so I would be more then willing to take them off your hands. Ill trade you even up 1 razor sharp sword as you suggest for each 700 you have.
