  1. I just took my leathers, taped up lights, removed mirrors, used engine ice, took front/rear stands, and bought new tires with only about 300miles on them. Had a blast. Buddy brought the water/gatorade and snacks. STT provided lunch. I like my list much better. You don't need to bring much.
  2. I've never heard of anyone w/out it. Brakes are good.
  3. Wrong thread?? I got the best map down there anyway. So, you living with the g/f or what? You left Drey?
  4. I noticed some comments about the Saline injections with the emotion after it. What are they about and for? Does the fluid hurt or something? I know nothing about it, so educate me please.
  5. "You stupid gawddamn dumbshit motherfucker!!!" haha...I LOVE THAT SONG! Good choice Catman. That's my favorite part. Thanks for sharing the vid. I noticed that Putnam's concrete looks messed up, like cracked a lot with tar snakes. Is that true?
  6. I've already said my comments via text, so now I will ask... Are you keeping the new shorts you made? Those are soooo in right now.
  7. Yeah you and I are on the same page kind of. I just want to say that I meant I sometimes ride my 14 near 100% because it's not a 600 or liter bike, which then I would say 60-75% on a bike like those. When I took my 600 on the track in 2006, I realized that on the street I can't come close to the 70-75% range as I could on the track. 80% or more on the street is insane, yes. I consider 100% on a ZX14 being 70% on a 600-1000cc on the street. Hope that makes more sense.
  8. I got it as an EMAIL forward dude, so I can't help you.
  9. That happens. We have decent ones, but they're not TOTALLY empty and pavement is sketchy sometimes. Plus after 5 years of riding them, I'm sooo sick of them. I never ride them anymore because of that. I venture out to areas I've never been nowadays. I grew up out there on the roads of the old Sunday rides. I was all over them as a teeniebopper.
  10. Preach on! I'm not bitching. I just don't care about much. I'll never set one up, but I'll show up to one.
  11. Someday I will show you a few great ones between Central State and Springfield if you'd like with a few other riders. I will make it to Springfield stupid quick with a few others, but we always will wait at the stop sign.
  12. Saying only getting 80% is OUT OF THE suspension/leaning capabilities. Getting 100% out of a motor is EASY. Twist it back and wring it out. There isn't 1 single motor that I haven't gotten 100% out of. Now riding using the SUSPENSION 80% is what most of you guys are referring to and is irrelevant to the subject that is at hand. This is about power, not tearing it up with handling he is worried about. So, as I agree with lizard, his response doesn't apply to what this thread is about, because getting 100% out of a motor is simple. Get what you like and realize it will rip your arms off if you're too rough with a 1000+. I love that feeling honestly. I'm geared -1/+2 and wide open you will get tunnel vision and it makes me smile. Then again, I use my 1400 reeeeeeally close to 100%...haha, then again it's not a liter bike, but I push it hard, not just on straights.
  13. Ewww! Why'd you ride all main roads? Those are booooring. There's some awesome back roads between Xenia and Springfield.
  14. right. It's a restaurant. 11:30 was the meet up time. I don't know why there was 11-2pm typed on page 1 because it's a restaurant and it doesn't take 3 hours to eat. I don't know about you, but I'm not going to just hang out wasting my time sitting at a restaurant when I'm already done eating.
  15. I only got around 3k out of a pilot power for years. Didn't like buying 3 rears a year, so I use a different tire now.
  16. ^^^Rookie. Well, I never went riding today. Didn't get home until 6:30pm and just chilled.
  17. That's a cool music vid. Even on the original I can't believe he says,"You're going to love my nuts."!!!
  18. Best liter bike recommendation is the one you like. They're all great bikes.
  19. Why would you show up at 4pm? It was at 11:30am, we ate, and then went riding. We was done riding before 4pm.
  20. I won't be free until about 6 or 7pm, but I'm going to go for a ride sometime this evening. I just woke up at 12:30pm today and we got some errands to do before I'm free today.
  21. Kid, I just noticed that even with you joining over a year after me, you still have 100+ more posts than me. Damn son!
