Just FYI when I priced it out it was as expensive as mid-level granite. The one benifit was that for my sq footage they would include the intergrated sink for free. Unfortunatly the only sink colors were white and cream-and I really wanted full murder status with the sink/counter.

There is nothing more douche-like than talking about racing for money. We will race and film it. It's about the car, not about the cash. I expected someone who could afford a UGR Lambo to know better than to say something like that. I explained that we'd race for results a month ago. I already have the location and I will let you know when approval has been granted for its use. If you read what was typed-its not a money race-its lock in money to make sure neither party back's out. Lock in money has been around as long as street racing itself. For someone who was so confident that they already claimed the win, you turned into a back pedaling pussy in a real hurry.

Stock ignitions have been proven to make 800+hp with no problems, not to mention I have had nothing but issues out of MSD products on my Honda and my dads. I don't have the 20 year old cap and rotor on the car, those have been replaced. The coil could have been replaced at some point in its 18 year life, not sure. I just know I haven't replaced the coil or ignitor in the last 3 years. Like I said we're gonna try changing the plug gap and see if that fixes the issue. If not then I will look into other options.

Generally, the granite transformations cost is almost equal to the cost of demolishing an existing countertop and installing a new one with tiles in the backsplash.

Just got Uba Tuba for $35 a square- $150 for under-mount cut and heavy sink mount. $2800 but I have a TON of counter space. Find the small shops that ONLY do Granite. In this market, I think you will 100% Re-coupe that, since EVERYONE wants Granite, and that is the current standard of "higher end" finishes.

(2) Is the 'shop' working on the car or are the individuals the shop employs working on the car? I think we know the answer. Based on that, do you KNOW who is doing the work? And do you KNOW their credentials (i.e., qualifications or expertise in handling a specific task-in this case, a TT Murci)? Of course you don't or you wouldn't have made idiotic statements. I have been racing in and around Columbus since 2003-and have known about IPS, their owners, their builds, and am personal friends with some of their best long term customers. IPS does have some nice "builds" to their credit to date-most of which involve sourcing parts built by other people and simply bolting together proven combinations. Many of there in house deals have turned into absolutely EPIC failures-IE Tilley's (literally) hammered Vette getting beat by everything, and burning to the ground (Sorry John). Beyond that- they have NEVER build one of these, ever, on any level. If you feel that combination of facts makes them qualified for the job-well sir I indeed cant help you.

 

 

(3) How exactly is the platform unproven? You have a lot of proof to supply in that area. I look forward to hearing a Lamborghini expert such as yourself delve into the subtle nuances as to why this is the case.

, I will give some highlights to attempt the apparently enormous process of correcting people's ignorance.

 

The average TT Gallardo weighs between 3400-3700 pounds depending on model, options, mods, etc. My SV will be coming in around 3200 pounds, so yes, 3200 IS in fact lighter than 3400-3700. Shocking I know. We have removed more than 500 pounds from the car in addition to the SV already starting out nearly 400 pounds lighter than a 'standard' Murcielago (per C&D's weighing of the vehicles).

 

So, 1500 poorly utilized HP in a car that weighs more, isn't geared as well, has worse aero vs. my car that is SIGNIFICANTLY better in all categories really isn't that fair of a race.
