So its Sam, me, and Mr right so far?
if we get a few more I will try to secure a location to do this. It seems there is no gym in close proximity to where we will be.

and 8 second car that only does rolls? .... not likly.. and to do 8 seconds.. it would need to get traction.
I am not at liberty to post any more information about this.
If you look in these forums-what it ran on mid boost and street tires is posted.

E30's are more fun and lighter and the 2.7 is 8.5-1Cr
Bitches like the E36.
$1500 is a good price even with the boring 1.9 liter four.Common wear items include thermostat+housing/water pump/radiator
Control arm bushing and ball joints both of which require a press for replacement
bad bushings are easily detected by inching the car forward at 1mph and tapping the brakes, you will feel a thumping through the steering wheel and an outside observer will see the entire front wheel moving rearward in relation to the wheel well.
The pcv valves go bad and cause idle problems and cel's, easy and cheap fix.
Rear sub frame bushings go bad and occasionally tear mounting lugs out of the body... unlikely in the underpowered 318.
Window regulators and motors die regularly.
Yeah-my buddy with a 94 325 came with me, and informed me of all that action.
The front ball joints are new, motor runs cool and quite. The car is dead nuts @ 60mph. Only rear end issue sounds to be a bad rear end bushing, but thats no big deal IMO. He has receipts from a local import shop (expensive BMW specialist) and they told him of the rear end issue (so I buy it even more)
All windows work, so I am still on the fence. Maybe I will low ball him even harder and see if he bites
Thanks for the info guys.

Why no shirts?
Equal playing field mang-

If by juice you mean a multi vitamin, and vitamin C&E in the mornings. Ha
Im down, body weight is fine whats your weight JP?
I lost 20 lbs in the last 2 months-I am almost embarrased to say.
School, work, and hoes own me.

I recently got the itch for a BMW. Looking around, I found a clean 92 318i. Charcoal out, black leather inside. Body is straight, interior is clean. quite rust free underneath.
Everything works besides the A/C, power everything. Has a rear end cluck I am not concerned about.
I can probably get it for 1500. Good by? Dont bother? Let me know.
-
Yup-thats the gig.
No shirts, no BS. If enough people want to get in on this-I will make it happen.
So far its
Me

Who else wants in?

Dammit can we run on the way OUT this time? I hope we can assure there will be no excuses from either party after this one!

Im in, JP reps or max which you prefer?
Sounds like it will be a body weight bench off, that will "level" the playing field. We can do 1 rep max for fun.
-
If you guys want to come up-I can set this up for the 20th. Who would be interested?
Dk-
Bottle Fed-

We can do Overall Max, and bodyweight rep. I think I have the formula for deciding the victor here somewhere......

I didnt know you were any taller than me.
You want to have a bench off?
-
So is she gonna be ready you think?...
Got any other VW's comin?..
I just took it out for some races tonight. No shifty. No good.
There are a few V-Dubs around town, none trapping higher than 112 that I know of. There is one with a GT30 that may have some pep, and one getting a T-67, but it wont be done till winter.
-
The rotary works fine. It's the issue of ignition after 5000 rpm from 3rd gear on at WOT.
Bet ya $20 you would not have that issue, and much more power on the same gas with a motor of a different flavor.
There is more than one way to solve your problem-just have to think outside the box.
-
the the half breed starting to revolt?
The tranny has not worked since the car has been running-it refuses to shift after 5k. tried another tranny, same thing. Tried different fluid, same thing. Extended the slave, and not it engages Right at the top-same thing. There are a few more tests I need to do now that the clutch is well adjusted, but this shit is getting old.
If I had money-it would be T56 and done.
-
I can, and have replace coil packs. I can continue to look for my ignition problem. I, however, have no fucking clue what to check next. Nor does anyone else.
Your ignition problem lies in your engine bay-its called the rotary motor.
And why is the only Mazda part on my car not fucking working!??!?!W#
-
If the kid can do this-
And WTF turbo'd dune buggy makin some cool fucking noises?! Love it!
-
He obviously didnt build the car to be a looker, he built it to shit on everybody... and guess what? Thats what it does. He wins.
Thats what its about.

High 10's on a 1000cc bike....
We had guys on 600's running 10's at our track day last week...
Dont quote me-he may have gone faster. Great looking bike
For reference, I went 11.0@125.5 on my bone stock slower than an RR F4i

Considering the best air shows in the region are put on in Dayton at Wright Patterson .
Wright Patterson puts on a good show, but take away their sanding display-and Ceveland is the larger show.
there's no need to travel 3 hours up north. You must have the slowest s2000 on earth.
-
Wow, you guys dont get 1/5th of the air show we get up here.
If your into that-its worth the trip up north.
Anyone familiar with E36 cars?
