I have been in town for one night so far. Last night alone, we drank/saw/had a beer with.. Will Castro (owner of Unique Autosport-“Unique Whips”), Reme, Mad Mike from pimp my ride, Robbie Gordan (who in other news I was offered 1000$ cash to punch in the face-more on that later), Brian Crower, (Crower rods), Wee Man, and random industry big wigs like Nero of Titan, the uber guy that owns APS, Christian Rado, and a long list I people I don’t remember.
Add the most hookers I have ever seen at one bar (and the most looser I have ever seen trying to get with them), and you have you average Vegas night. I did not want to look like a D-bag and take pics, but I do have pics of the 5500sq ft. house a friend of mine lent to me. I need some snatch in here so it does not feel so fin empty!

My old car beat Busas-they were easy money since they think no car can hang. It sounds like you fit the stereotype.
My personal friend builds turbo kits for some of the fastest street bikes in the country. His new zx12 just went 8.0@182 in full street trim hazing the tire on the top end. Its his DD bike. It pulls so hard your neck literally hurts trying to keep it forward.
In other news I have somehow put 260 miles on this bike in 3 days of riding?! Yikes

I dont think I will mod it-once I start, I wont stop. It feels like it should do an 11.X@mid 120's. We'll see what happens.
Its funny how it feels fast, faster than anything-but if you watch the speedo when you are mowing through the gears, you see how slow it is, especially past 120. The Colt on pump gas would have molested this poor thing-odd to think.
I can see how bike guys think no car could beat them, it sure feels that was when you in it to win it on a 2-6 pull.

20th in the Road Race. -Junk- Pro drivers were on site but the stubborn owner of the car would not let anyone else drive it-likely may have lost the competition because of it.
Team slow shift only managed an 11.4 in competition, but @127mph. It seems the 45whp we picked up in tuning on the dyno (over the seat of pants tune it went 10.9@125 on) actually made a difference. We just need to reinstall the driver gasket.
We'll see what the results are-I believe there were some 80+ cars in the competition this year.

sh.org has been back up for about a month now. I guess Dennis lost some employees and took some time off to get things straighted out. Everything seems to be back to normal from what I can tell....
Yes, he his a rough spot in his life, but his friends helped him get back on track. He has a great thing going with his turbo set ups, so I hope he continues to prosper and stay on track. Then-I in tern can continue to ride his grossly overpowered bikes.

Actually one of the guys over on suzukihayabusa.org came off of a BUSA at around 210mph and walked away. I think he is officially the first person to live through a 200+mph get off on a bike. It was a nasty nasty TURBO BUSA....
If you've got good gear and don't hit any SOLID objects, you are normally good to go....
If it was on that site, he likley has one of Dennis's kits on his bike. I ride a Denis machine whenever I need a reminder of what's not needed on the street.

I once realized that I didnt need DSMs anymore and just got into bikes instead, maybe you will do this too after you get the itch to move up from that 600

Picked it up yesterday. The chain is loosing it-it looks like the D-bag never lubed it. But chain lube on, and its much better, but I will need a new chain and sprockets soon. Rode around for 2 hours, no issues. Needless to say I am more than happy with it.
I think the poor sap knew he was gettign ripped-he was bitchin so much when I came to pick it up it was pitiful.
