  1. Why would China ever accept Bitcoin? They can't touch it, control it, influence it. Fuck it.

BTW, if you had bought Bitcoin when I suggested on October 27, a little over a week ago, and sold on Saturday when I did, you would have earned 30% on your gamble. Just an example of the volatility of which I spoke.

Did you buy and sell though Coinbase? Are they going to 1099 you on your profit from the trade?

  2. You'd be buying a higher mileage older Model S if it's only $38k. Not likely a long range or AWD one either. No comparison between the two.

So, your just strengthening my argument LOL

So for....45k, I could have a Nice Volt, a C6z, and Campaing a 160+ traps Colt all year at IFO, and have money for first round at the OG for SEMA.

Or I could have a Used Model S.

  3.

Dad had a fully loaded Volt the first year they came out. It's touch screen wasn't tesla impressive, but honestly everything else about it was as nice as tesla including the leather. You don't see a lot of fully loaded volts because most people buying are mindful of the tax credits and want to keep the cost cheap. His second Volt, which was ordered by the son of a friend who then bought a Mercedes instead, wasn't nearly as nice because it had the kind of cost cutting decisions a college kid would make.

    .

    This fully loaded?

They way I look at it- I dont know if 30K more is worth it to get into a used Model S

  4. Wow... They are really closing in on that 300mph marker fast. I can say with confidence I never want to go that fast in a car!

It would be interesting if they could play with gearing in the car as it sits to see if they could get there.

And I would do it in that car in a hot second-without hesitation lol

  5. UPDATE-

Tried it again at a local test and tune. Held it at 5k, clutch out. (still have no 2 step- no MPH in link) 1.6 60ft. 6.5 1/8th (best 8th for this car so far) Shift 4th- BOOM. Coupler blows off the MAF.

    10.4 @ 101. FAK. That was my 9.

Pissed next pass- give her the beans on the launch. Grenade the U joint- exploded the rear yoke- and it slipped the carrier, so the front yoke slipped out and chuck'd a piece of the T case on the way out. Literally the front and rear of the D shaft where on the ground LOL.

I really need a 2 step to LIMIT my power on the leave.

  6. Anything can be currency if enough people agree it is worth something.

    This.

Same as if a group of nerds found value in moose shit, a DOLLAR value would be assigned to the moose shit. And for a fleeting moment in time, people would talk about that crazy time when people where paying for mooseshit.

As long as there is a tiny segment of people willing to exchange DOLLARS for bitcoin, there will be a tiny segment of vendors willing to accept it. The second that market begins to tank, all vendors will drop support and that will be the end of bitcoin.

Take this Porsche for example. They will accept BitCoin, but possibly not mat market rate. Most car vendors I have seen work out a deal to get the BitCoin below market then immediately try to sell. I was talking to a local guy at Tesla about it. They are taking a short term bet in hopes of increasing their profit more so than actually "selling" the car.

I don't see how that model works long term but we will see I suppose!

  7. Your title says F-350 and in the description has f350 so as long as you aren't searching 'titles only' it should work.

That being said I typically include F350 & F-350 in the listing title and put the gammet of F250-F550 the same way as tags.

    Yes I should update!

  8. Damn, what a deal. If I was still using beater trucks for my rental I'd pick this up in a heartbeat. Guarantee it's gone by the end of the weekend.

Nah- people up here are poor LOL.

And I must have screwed up the listing- I cant even find it when I type in F350 or Truck LOL
