Me too brotha. You, me, and many of us have been in some shit over the years! Happy we made it out the other side. I do, but they are stuck on an old computer town in storage Had some aero work- just not enough. Rear bumper was cut out. Car was lowered. Front air damn (as you can see int he pics) I think created some good FRONT downforce. With no rear and NO weight in the rear, it was only a matter of speed. It felt like someone picked the rear end off the ground. I literally turned the car into an airfoil. I think a solid rear wing would have prevented this, but I doubt I will ever test that theory. It wasn't faked, and that may be the creepiest part. So this was a mini video tape recorder (2006 remember) and he was recording over video of a party they had. At the party, they had "jungle juice" container they dubbed "the beast". Evidently when he (and the camera) where banging around the car when I was hitting the wall (3 strikes) it momentarily bounced the tape to a different part of the video. Can you imagine what went though my head when we watched this after fact, all wonder if we saw what we though we saw, and stopped it on that shit... on 666?!?!? I cant even make this shit up.

Wait, there are 30+k new? Hard to stomach when you can have a Mustang GT for that, although this looks fully optioned. -

Im sure you have seen my thread. About 3k Miles with the car basically set on kit. No issues, just a lot of smiles. I would do your research on the car, maintenance history and consider a PPI with a BMW tech before buying because there seems to be a big gap between well taken care of, and zero scheduled maintenance. -
Pics of sister?

Quite the opposite. I was calm, poised, even focused trying to keep it straight and slow it down. I remember the whole thing like it was yesterday, and I remember not being scared, just being focused on keeping it out of the ditch and away from the poles.

Buddy of mine, he is not on here. Sad to say, I have not talked to him since that day (his choice) Thank god local Mexican cops are lazy. By the time they showed up, I already had a tow 5 minutes away so they just wanted it to get off the road. Also lucky, it came to rest nicely against the shoulder.

Live, learn, and appreciate life! Sometimes we get lucky. Cant believe its been 10 years. http://www.ecmtuning.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9415 The little seen full video. 10 years later, I don't think there is anything to hide anymore. Have your fun, just do it within reason. Near 200mph with no aero work is not advisable. Thanks. Murdering the limiter on a 3rd gear roll-on is new, and suprisingly not a welcome problem LOL. I cant get any more tire under the car, so I have to work on boost control, again. -

Thanks 60-150 roll on, no brake boosting. It seems the extra torque is making traction more difficult. Should give a good perspective on spool, transient, and "sound" characteristics of this turbo. If the off the shelf cast Pt88 unit is "quiet" I would have to say this one is not. Here is the list of things I need to do before I see the track. Flush coolant system. Current coolant looks like mud LOL. Engine must have been sitting for some time. Wire up 2 stage boost control Smooth out restriction in exhaust Add more pump. See if one 450 and one 380 can fit in stock bucket or move to cheap fuel cell and twin 380's Bump base pressure to 70psi-retune and add boost She feels very strong; this cam definitely carries the power well up top. I am excited to see what the difference is at similar boost levels compared to the 5.7 and twins -
I didn't want to build at all. We just couldn't find anything at the same price point that was comparable-people in Avon think their houses are gold-plated. It did help that a good friend I trusted built with them, had no issues, and said he sees the same guys working on houses now. Its also farther west in the city than I wanted to be, but for the price point it was a good compromise for us. Also again that number is with me doing the basement-which skews it a bit. They will be around 94-95 sq ft UP when they are done. And, they did good on the land-so that may be why they had wiggle room in the build. They bought the original 200+acres from farmer Bob for dirt cheap before the boom. Sold a few sections to Pulte, PS, Ryan for market price a few years ago, and made their Money back 10x just from that. This is the last street in the development, so I think they just want to be done with it? IDK, Im not complaining. Also consider this is no grass, no yard which can be 4-10k alone. I wanted a house in Avon School district with a big ass garage-thats all I am getting!

Trans is beefier, but other than that I assume its the samish. Im in no rush-Im fine with the gap. Ride is same as stock with these tires.

Im a cheap Jew fuck-and pinched every penny I could with them, and with the finished I am doing myself or with my crew. It is one of the houses they build, but they do allow for custom changes (if approved-they did not approve everything I wanted to do) but it is not a mod house. They built it on site-even the roof trusses are built and erected on site. No, I did not have a vision and had it realized with a drafter, but we did some things that will be 100% unique to my house in my area. Its also nice as its an "open" development. There are 5 or 6 different builders that are building there so the houses are pretty varied. Right. The crew that is working on my house is the same that built a friend of mine's 5 years ago. Its random, but my buddies is like me-came up from thing so he values his money and remembers the guys that worked on his house. Since he lives 2 streets from my build- he stops a few times a week to snoop and sends me pics. He mentioned that he recognized most of the crew. Considering he has had no issues with his house, that gives me some confidence in their process as they sold me on having an "in house" crew.

This is correct, most of is is all contracted out. I try to get to the site at minimum of once a week, always unannounced, so I can poke around to keep an eye out for things like this. I'm not a home builder, but I know much more about it than your average bear. Once they start framing I plan on stopping in twice a week, if not more.

After 2+ hours of cleaning plasti dip off, I got them to my buddy to get 2 used fronts installed and the rears resealed. $80 later.....Bam! http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/IMG_20160519_103927416_HDR.jpg http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/IMG_20160519_104013666_HDR.jpg Still shocked they were straight and balanced well. Tint, and I think I am done. I know it would look great lowered, but I will not lower it if it at all compromised ride quality.

Yes, but your will likely break less and be less expensive to fix! The wagons are dope, but I would make sure you wait for a well sorted unit

I am doing a lot of the finishing work myself, and with my crew. They KILL you on upgrades. I am doing the entire house in Granite for what they wanted to JUST do the kitchen. I am also finishing the basement for 1/3 of what they wanted to do it. Sure, it wont have the finishes of my neighbor spending 470k, but I cant tell the difference between Brazilian hardwood, and HD laminate. But, I can tell you going with an HD laminate saved me 15k. 15 freaking thousand dollars!! LOL. I'll keep my 150k in the bank, thanks! http://f.tqn.com/y/homerenovations/1/S/0/l/-/-/Laminate-Floor-vs-Real-Walnut-Wood.JPG Also I am factoring in the basement being finished which is adding 1400sq foot to the total. (total basement is 1900sq) without the basement we will be in the low 90's sq/ft. Partial stone front, almost 900sq ft garage, no rooms over the garage. Avon is Top 20 in the state for community/schools/growth/per capital income. Pricey burb, I just know how to work the system Yes. I did my research, was hard in my negotiations, and will take a week off work to do some of the final finishes that will save me a ton of money.
-
Not THIS cheap. LOL They balanced well-need to clean some old plasti dip off the barrels and will be installing soon.

It drives like a brand new car. I preferred it over the 2011+, hence why I made this purchase. And besides an Abrath is one of the nerdiest vehicles I have ever seen. The 535 wagon would be 1000000x classier and mature. Just try to get the maintenance history on it-they have all had HPFPs done. Injectors and coils would be a huge plus. Also about time it may need a intake blast-but you would feel hesitation if it needed it. Right!!! I didn't even low ball him HE came up with the price LOL. I dropped them off to get 2 used fronts put on and balanced, we will see what happens All of it. LOL. I just put a car+ on a buddy with a modded e55 AMG. I was shocked I pulled away from him up top. Pully, longtubes, full exhaust (no tune yet). Im sure with a tune we would be dead even or worse for me-he went 12.3@113. No video as my phone dies and I could not turn my go pro on
