Looks nasty, What the hell burned you? I am sorry about not getting recent pics up of the progress, I will soon.

It was an experience being at home with the wife and kids all summer, she doesnt work, and losing thousands in pay, not to mention my benefits, its complicated dont ask, and the looming possibilty I may never be able to do my job again, lets just say its been an experience:p

Yeah some days are better than others. Right now I have been up on it walking around the house and its killing me. It will be like this til bedtime now which really sucks. Then it will bother me until about 2-3am when I am finally so tired I can sleep.

The bolt never should have snapped. since it was speded for 5000lbs and the piece was only 1200lb. The bolt should have been able to withhold 1 and 1/2 what it was actually rated for. But it just snapped at the wrong time. I am very good friends with the owner and his family of the company I work for which makes this whole process alot harder.

I have started it a few times. I will probably sell it at somepoint or trade it off for a cage.

I really appreciate the offer but I could ride it now, but I just dont have the insurance turned on and since I really have nowhere to ride, I dont plan on getting t turned back on this year. I have to make sure I dont suddenly slam my foot down.

I rode it one time this year before I was hurt.

That was covering the skin graft they took from the side of my leg.

I was cool after it happened, and thought maybe its not that bad. I knew it hit me but didnt feel painful. I decided to take my boot off just to verify I was good and I see 3 bones sticking up through my sock. I told the security guard who was watching the doors to call an ambulance and told one of our guys to call my wife and tell her what had happened. The funny part is i was supposed to be working at the hospital I was taken to but they cancelled the job that night so I went over to the job i was hurt on only to be taken back to the hospital in an ambulance.

And it sucks I live directly behind wings and rings and havent made it there for a meet. I literally could walk there in a few minutes.

Thanks for all the support and kind words guys. Its definately been an experience I dont want to soon relive. The worst part is I left this company for 7 months and told them if they ever needed me I was a phone call away. i was back 5 weeks when it happened. previous to that I was there 12 years with only minor cuts and bruises. And the fact that workers comp is paying me less than 1/8th what I should be making.

I will get new pics up tomorrow. The swelling is down and it looks like a foot except for the scars.

Broke the bones 5 times and completely crushed 3. I am currently in physical therapy 3 times a week. I am able to walk for about 10-15 minutes before it aches really bad. I walk slow to try and mask the fact that I am hurt sso people dont look at me funny. Theres screws holding it all back together. Needless to say I havent been able to ride this season.

I cant find the pic at the hospital right after it happened. It split open like a baked potato.

I work for a concrete cutting company and there was piece of concrete we were removing when the bolt rated for at minimum 5000lbs broke and dropped a 1200lb piece of concrete on the only piece of me I couldnt get out of the way.

Trades considered of all sorts. Price is pretty firm at $1500. Looking to sell our full size conversion van. We have owned this for quite some time. Its a 1995 e150 conversion van. Tradewinds conversion. quad seating with rear sofa which layes down into a bed. I believe it has around 160,000 miles give or take. Has fairly new front tires. Just had some of the brake lines replaced. It has ac but hasnt been charged in a few years. The rear ac went out years ago so it was bypassed but the front ac and heat does just fine. The windshield is cracked. It has a tv and vcr but they havent been used in years so I dont know what if they work still. Its cleaner than it looks in the pics and I will wipe it all down tomorrow. We just dont drive it anymore of for a few years really just every now and then. Has tow hitch. 5.0 motor. 614-861-2697 Jason
