  3. Also, you can use a car filter so you don't have to pay $15 for an oil filter. I run a little larger than stock, with with Suzuki's gay mounting location for the filter I don't think you can. http://motorcycleinfo.calsci.com/FilterXRef.html Edit: These Oil Filters have 20 x 1mm threads, 11 psi by-pass valve, anti-drain back valve. None are recommended. This is a proprietary Suzuki thread, and no high performance filters are made for 20mmx1mm threads. Suzuki fails again. Scratch that.
  4. You can use Mobil 1, just make sure it's extended life so it has the additives you need for your clutch. Personally I use Mobil 1 15W50 extended life.

  7. Shit, I've raced something at a track like once or twice in the last two years. Been too long, need to get the Regal in ass kicking form.
  8. ahah, you're too new to have ever seen me at the track I guess. One of the rentals at Larue I made 25 passes in about 4 hours on my bike. With the last Regal a normal Friday night was to get off work, pick up 10 gallons of 110, go home, fill the tank, drive to the track, make as many passes as possible then either go home and drink or find some shenanigans to get in with the car. Though most of the time no one wanted any so drinking happened far more often than anything else.
  9. It should be alright. It's all stock shit so I don't see anything crazy breaking. The transmission will be bulletproof once I get it back. You know it's bad when the first thing the guy building it says to you is "you haven't learned anything? don't you have any sense?" referring to the fact that I bought yet another turbo Regal. Hopefully I'll have an alcohol kit by then, that's the only thing I'm really waiting on. If I don't I'll probably just throw some C16 in it... fuck it.
  10. You don't know the half of it. Fuck, I don't even have a boost gauge in the car yet. I was hoping to get it on the dyno and by the time I had shit sorted out I fragged the transmission. I've got my logging shit ready now, so hopefully it will be straight to the dyno or track once I get it back from Akron.
  11. This should be good for a laugh at least. Honestly though, I have no idea if it will even leave hard with the open diff. I'm supposed to hear from my transmission builder this week so I'm hoping to have it to a track at least once before the fall track day. ... watch me break it before then.
  12. What do I get if I out 60' you on 9" slicks with an open diff? On the foot brake, obviously.
  13. Yeah, he's a cool dude. My friends ex-wife is related to him somehow. He had the super low mile 86 GN out once and it dropped a good quart of oil on our buddy Scott's driveway. We had to give him shit for that one.
