  1. One last note: when I say I haven't raced there in the last two years I'm not counting being out there as a tech bitch with friends. I've been down the track, I've seen friends cars hook, I've seen bikes trap well over that, all without issue. That's where I'm coming from. I'd blame the Dunlops.
  2. I just think you're putting blame in the wrong place. Try it on a worthwhile tire and I bet the result is different. The D208 got decent reviews too, it still doesn't make it worth a shit on a bike making that kind of power. It's also possible you weren't in the groove. Maybe rubber hadn't been laid down, maybe there was breakage leaking a slick spot that went unnoticed. Trails isn't a bad track. As good as Norwalk? No, but nothing (aside from Bristol) on the East Coast is, so that is a moot point.
  3. Probably the only place you've got 15psi in it, as well. 95% sure that tire is what replaced the D208, which was an utter pile of shit. There is a reason Dunlop is no longer in GP (not talking about the single tire rule, either).
  4. I highly doubt it has changed since I raced there last. I'll be back with some more 28x9 ET Drags this season. Count on that.
  5. Isn't that the tire that replaced the D208 (aka, absolute shit riding on plastic feel, won't hook for a damn, D208)? Why such little pressure? Do you run 15psi on the street when it hooks? You sure it isn't just wiggling a bit due to the low pressure?

    OSU vs. Texas

Why in the living fuck would you want that?

IO All I will say is that I hope two things happen, because I know Jim Tressel isn't bringing a working game plan. 1. Our o-line shows up. 2. Pryor takes advantage of the above. In for another loss due to running it up the middle every down.
  8. I've been 1.5x 60's with a bone stock suspension Regal on 28x9 ET Drags, I don't get how anyone has ever had issues with traction. I go with - user error.
  9. Stay in the groove and use non shitty tires? I've seen plenty of bikes trap 170+ there with no issue.
  10. I never go to Trails for anything other than rentals due to amount of dipshits racing there. Other than that, I have no complaints.
  11. Trails isn't that bad unless you're making some serious power. That said; MCIR fo lyfe.
  12. No one is going to work out until Mike Brown is gone.
  13. Pimpin. Should have rocked the chicken dance.
  14. Someone kills a kitten, but we can move on with the race anyway.
  15. Sheit. Probably makes MORE power than his weak ass Corolla.
  16. Their problem was from a cooling fan which was repaired before the race. The crash was due to a hole in the radiator. For a first outing, shooting up to 8th place from dead last in a matter of laps is all kinds of impressive. I just hope they actually make a return to road racing. It will be nice to see something different competing with the top dogs. WSBK should prove interesting for that as well with the new BMWs.

  18. http://nortonracing.com/i/Two-Nortons.jpg Cool ass hell.
  19. This is pretty fucking cool, I wonder how long it will take someone to call foul, Mazda 787B style. Assuming of course, Norton gets back into racing full time since we've got this lovely economy crisis.
  20. Peak power is @ 11,500rpm (on the new one, anyway). Older one was around 10,000rpm.
  21. Yeah, the kid was a girl too.
  22. It's cute you try so hard to sound smart. It really is.
  23. Even passing in one state is Commie shit. I've been meaning to stock up on ammo, good as reason any to.
  24. Ok, so we get an adopted Russian kid to be the flagger. Someone legit can be the money holder, or just keep kids at gun point.
  25. Evil Knievel is still far cooler. Doing it on a shitty heavy bike not designed for jumping > using a MX bike
