I've heard nothing but good things about them. I suggested them to my brother in law and he loves them.

Wow that impressive. ... i would think half inch would be more than enough. That's pretty crazy.

A full sheet will weigh you just over a couple hundred pounds. If you want it cut there are a few suppliers that will plasma or water jet something like that but I have no idea how much that will cost.

I work for a metals supplier and to give you an idea for the metal a 1/4 60x120" piece of cold rolled carbon steel is going to run you around $300 a piece depending on the day. Cold rolled steel is close to ar500 plate steel as you can get without having a hard time sourcing it to as big as you would like. You can pick up plain old Cold rolled at any metals supplier in any area of ohio. If you would want to cut cost you may think of only bulletproofing the bottom 60" or 48" of the room. The standard sizes for the plate are 48x120 60x120 or 48x144 and 60x144. And those are going to be a bitch to hand carry anywhere.

Pics of the worst lack of maintenance you've ever seen. GO!

This is why I have a hard time buying a used bike. The majority of motorcycle owners do not have a clue as to how to properly maintain their bike. -
Congrats guys, if you end up coming anywhere near Dayton or Cindy let me know.

Picked up my first 1911 this weekend. I love this thing Sig really does a great job for the price point their 1911 line sells for. I've heard of some big Q.C. issues they have had recently but there is not one thing wrong with this one. I've shot three different types of ammo through it without one hick up.

I have been trying to find a solution that cleans the white on my jacket, I've tried every leather conditioner out there. Nothing really cleans the white once its dirty. Keep it clean with the lexol. I know a lot of people who have had good results with it. You have to stay on top of it though to keep it clean.

The hungaroring..... That's all I have. Its one of my favorite racetracks in the world. Even though I've never been there.

I hook my computer up directly to my tv with an av cable works great. And I watch on my phone as well. They do a great job with their video subscription. Now I wish F1 would do the same.

Another suggestion if I may add my $.02. If you're going track beater. There are plenty of great e-30's out there for $2,000-$3,000 range. You have to do work to find them and haggle down on price but they are great cars. I picked up a 1990 325i convertible 135,000 miles and it's loaded heated seats and all. Limited slip rear diff 15" basket weave BBS's too. I've had it around 4 months now and I couldn't be happier. I've done a lot of track time and can tell you that with a refreshed suspension and tune up that thing would be a blast to have on a track. That and there are so many people out there with parts for them you can upgrade, replace and sell parts easy.

I got another holster done for my 17 my first holster got misplaced while moving so I've been without my full size carry piece all winter. More feedback would be awesome as well.

Flounder #3 is my biggest beef with this holster right now. And that was a design flaw with my pattern. I really needed to build the front face of the holster taller in the gun region in order to get a steeper angle cut down and around the trigger area in order to produce the gap the holster needs. At the same time covering up the trigger sufficiently. #1 and #2 are actually deceiving in the pictures. The tread I use is actually thicker than most industry standards are. You just can't tell as much because I grove the stitching line in order for the stitching to sit flush with the leather so over time rubbing from your clothes, skin, etc. doesn't fray the stitching. And the clips are spring clips and latch very well, another one of my beefs is that I'm having a hard time finding a spring clip that doesn't grip too much or too little. I can barely yank the clips off of my belt and they are marking up my gun belt. I made this holster for my brother in law and this rig is going to be his EDC so I'm hoping they loosen up some I will see.

So about this time last year I had picked up a couple of pieces of leather and basic tools to get me started with making some leather holsters. After a year or so of making basic style holsters I decided that I wanted to come up with my own design, something that I could call my own and have my own prototype of a holster. All this to come up with possibly my own line of holsters and to eventually sell to the public. So with that being said I am looking for some feedback as to how to better my design. What you guys do and don't like about it. I already have my ideas but I know I can come here and get criticism knowing there are a bunch of gun guys around here that can chime in. And no I am not in the maket to sell right now. I am already working full time and at school full time so I really don't have the time to be building a business right now. If I do decide to open a store and start selling this will be the first place I start my advertising campaign. So what I have right now is a design for a tuckable IWB with a little adjustment. The gun size didn't really allow for a lot of room for me to have the surface area for much adjustment. Larger guns would allow for more adjustment. And my tool I use for molding broke during the molding process which lead to uneven lines and non parallel lines. So I will clean those up with my next holster I post. So here it is and thanks for the feedback.

I have a wood burning stove with a water container on top of the stove. Heat the stove which heats the water in the 40 gallon water drum on top of the stove. The water stays warm for hours after the fire in the stove goes out.... The stove is in the basement and the heat rises through the floors. My heater has kicked in twice that I know if since Thursday night.... Best thing ever. I've gone through about a half a chord of wood in the last week though. I will be needing to get a hold of a couple people that want some trees removed this summer.

For the first time ever I will be able to walk in my back yard and hunt! I've got 6acres that back up to woods and right next to a turf farm and a corn field. I know 6 acres isn't a whole lot but the house I am living in is in the front 1 1/2-2 and the back 4 are where my grandpa used to put his cows so they are untouched. So are the next couple of lots on either side of me.
