If you have a public internet presence and you're not running it on Linux...you're doing it wrong. If you're a Network/Security engineer and you're running windows, you're doing it wrong.
Just my .02

Ubuntu is the single easiest Linux distro available for a normal user. It's what I switched my mom to when she couldn't stop getting viruses on her computer. There's so much more to Linux than just using the GUI, though.

I ran Ubuntu on my laptop several years ago. It's pretty easy to figure out. I'm not sure why someone would need a course...
There's more to Linux than the GUI, and the majority of people coming from Windows will need a certain amount of hand holding.
This class exists just like "Learn Windows" classes exist.

The color is pearl white (it matches the 9). This helmet was worn twice, always with a skullcap on to protect the inside of the helmet. The extra clear visor has never been used. The visor retracts into the helmet when not needed.
It's in like new condition. I have a few too many helmets, and I could use the space back in my closet. -
Whatever group you ride in, ride your own ride. Do not feel compelled to keep up & ride over your head. If you do, you drastically increase your chances of having a really bad day & preventing others in the group from enjoying the ride as well. If you do end up in a group that is outpacing your comfort zone there is no shame at all in waving other riders by. The group will & would much rather wait for riders to catch up at all turn offs than to be tending to your broken bones & bike. Just my two cents but I think way too much emphasis & worry is being put on pace here.
He speaks the truth. Source: I had to deal with another rider's broken bones and busted bike.

I just came here to say fuck you all, since I can't make it. Having said that, immediately after my graduation from UA I'll br going on an all expenses paid trip to an all inclusive resort in Mexico, minus the narcos.
I'm a cunt for pointing that out.
Ride safe.

I just realized that unless we get rained on, I won't be able to ride on the 17th.
I'm walking the stage to get my CIS Bachelor's degree from U. Akron that day. Sorry.
Pray for rain?

Last year was a blast - Hope this year is as good or better!
Definitely a matter of perspective.

I'm a *maybe*.

I promise it won't be a one time thing.
I'm a cunt...I know. Manly familia duties have kept me busy for the last 3 years. I'm proud to say that I finished my bachelor's degree in December and I'm free to do rails of coke off of stripper's tight asses.

I've used them since 06. I prefer to do my own work so I've only gone in for big things. Only had one problem with a carb sync on my Bandit back in 08. I called and griped because it ran like shit and got lousy mileage, and they told me the tech that did the work lied on his resume and did a bunch of shoddy work for them. I brought it back and had it fixed in a day and running right, free of charge. Had no problem with tires getting mounted and they can usually do it while you wait, provided you bring the wheels in and call ahead to make sure they have someone available. Otherwise it's usually a day turnaround.
John (the owner) and I are on a first name basis and I get a pretty good feeling from doing business from him. They aren't perfect but no shop is. I think he may cycle through techs for one reason or another, I think they have a notable ebb and flow with work throughout the season causing some guys to leave.
Basically I'm trying to say I haven't had any issues with them that they were not quick to resolve. If they screwed up, they investigated, admitted fault, and made things right.
I've been happy enough with their work to not bother trying another shop so I don't have a good comparison other than my own experiences.
Thanks for the input. I do most of my own work too, but with the temperature falling and no experience (or the proper tools) to take the shaft hub and swingarm apart, I'd rather leave it to someone who's got experience with this bike. And this isn't the type of thing that I want to find out on the road that the person didn't know what they were doing..especially since I won't be able to road test it until Spring next year.

High prices. Mediocre service.
I used to get tires mounted there. I never felt comfortable using them for anything else. They charged a good friend over $1k to service an older Suzuki. I didn't run right after, and they didn't stand behind the work.
Yeah, I figured as much. I was semi hoping I was wrong.
You need to stop playing around with that M109 and get a damn track bike.
Selling the Ninja next Spring (hopefully). Then I'll start the track bike journey.
My 9 is purdy. You should come touch it.

All better now.

I'm curious as to whether they keep good techs there and what their level of service is, from easy to custom work.
Any experience you can relate it appreciated.

So according to this thread, he was a militant black power assassin who only got his job because he was black, and he was sent by Obama to kill all the white people, who in secret is working for the gun manufacturers and is covertly trying to drive prices up.
Thanks OR.

Fucking Pauly. That was the bestest. Ha! I'm still laughing.

I'm shocked.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't put it past her to do something like this. Like I said ...been there, done that. But I like to deal in facts, and that site doesn't have much of that going on.
