I shouldn't generalize and say "The Media" with a broad stroke. Not everybody in the media is following this path....but...it's there.

At the other end, it doesn't necessarily mean we've changed for the better either. It also doesn't change the fact that a good deed was done here. Especially since he paid his debt.

The people who talk shit about his past...I'm sure they wouldn't change who he was if it were their family involved. Ask any of the families involved. I'm sure they could give a fuck.

BUT...I can't dismiss the fact that this guy (and OTHERS..he wasn't the only one) were doing a selfless act when they helped these poor women out.

The media is looking for a story...good or bad. They will dig into your past to find ANYTHING....ANYTHING to make headlines. Best believe it will happen to you, me and everyone on this forum.

He might be a wife beater..and there's no excuse...but it doesn't change the fact that he potentially saved 3 or 4 lives. Sometimes you take the good with the bad. Digging up his past doesn't accomplish much.

Yesterday reminded me how assholes driving left of center in corners can be more dangerous than gravel, roadkill, etc. I lost count of the number of times I had to change my line or just abort a corner because someone crossed the yellow.

I've stayed away from PIB since I've moved to Ohio, because I can pretty much guess what it's like. This thread confirms that.

No airlift..just transported via ambulance. That didn't happen on the OR ride though so I will keep it off this thread. If said rider or member wants to speak on it he will...and I'll leave it at that.

That was me on the BMW. Sorry I took a knife to a gun fight - I'll bring one of the Duc's on the next ride. The BMW just can't hang with sport bikes all that well.

Nice hangin' with Inya though. We almost got taken out 6-7 times by crazy assed Logan car drivers on our way back. Freakin' amazing.

Sorry everyone just wanted to update you on David...this is his fiance....He went to mount carmel east there all of an hour then sent him home with pain meds....he has to go to an orto doctor and have surgery on his color bone...It is broken! He is in alot of pain but for now gratefully he was not hurt that bad!

Thanks for the update. Sucks about the surgery though.

He hung back with me and the injured rider...and stayed with him while I had to ride a good 15 miles or so to get cell service to call someone to take him to the hospital and get his bike. This took about 2 hrs maybe? We thought you guys n gals would be done or about done with the route so we headed back to the parking lot.

He took off back to IN soon after the first group got back.
