  1. 6.9 is Saturday.. i'm still out. Maybe next time.
  2. I would be so down to ride again, cept I have someone coming to look at my bike tonight . Hopefully I get this bike I'm looking at and get it running good before to long. Atleast you all won't have to see me at bike nights for a while, lol.
  3. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1746 It's back up again. Here's the thing. I'll go as low as $1400obo if bought before Saturday. I found an awesome deal and I'll take a hit on this bike to get this one. Come ride it, I can come meet you so you can ride it. It doesn't matter. *mods* If you want to clean this up, quote this in the other thread and unlock it. Sorry for cluttering the for sale forum.
  4. Moving on a bike > watching a bike sit.
  5. The black one followed us after we left Easton until we got off 670.
  6. The one day I'm to exhausted to ride. I may hit you up later this afternoon.. depending on how I feel after I get some more work done and how the coffee works.
  7. Easy now... there were only about 11 of the bikes that went to taco bell that rode afterwords.. and it was all due to RedRobbin who hasn't been at the other meets. (THANKS! And the paint looks just beautiful). I'm always looking to ride.. just seems like no one wants to ride when I free.
  8. ditto, met a few of you's and talked with some as well. Good times, the cruise down to taco hell was nice, albeit fast, lol. we lost the group in the city on the way to 70, where'd you guys go? we jumped on 71n from 70e/downtown, but didn't see you guys, so we just called it a night. We went some long (but fun) way up to polaris, then Easton (a little exciting), then back downtown. We were out til about 12 or so. A lot of decent riding.
  9. Great riding with you guys.
  10. What's the deal with spectators for track days? I'd love to come up an watch these shenanigans some time.. depending on how much it is to spectate..
  11. Meet at Shell up on polaris arround 7 I believe.
  12. Take the MSF course, it's better to drop someone elses bike when learning to ride. There are a lot of 500's out there that are pretty light, but stick to what your comfortable with. Insurance on a 250 would be cheap and so would gas (not like bikes consume that much gas). Depending on where you're located, I've found a long list of ninja 250's on craigslist and I'm sure that many will be showing up throughout the next month or so as people want to step up.
  13. Anyone going with the weather "questionable" at best?
  14. This isn't for sale any more.
  15. Yeah. I barely did it on a 250.. I think I lost 3pts on that (maybe 6 ). I've been wanting to try it on my Kat though.
  16. I have a Katana 600 he could use. But, I'm sure you're looking for a 250 or something.
  17. Agreed! I dont care if I had never seen the person before, I would never leave a fallen rider to burn. Hell I dont care if he just fliped me the bird and called me a pussy at the last traffic light, If someone goes down, you dont leave them for dead. Thats so fucked up. I almost wonder if the other two riders caused/had something to do with the wreck Yeah. I'm completely with you on that. I'm on a slow bike.. leave me to get the ticket.. fine. Leave me wrecked or on fire.. and we have problems.
  18. I'm out of town all weekend, so the best way to contact me would be via email (mhlatowu@yahoo.com) or hit my Cell up (740-803-1899).
  19. Summer's busy as fuck for me.. but I'm pretty sure I'll make it.
  20. I'm starting to think about selling my Kat. It has about 19,000 (18k however I'm riding it until it sells) on the odometer and is running strong. Some of you have seen it at meets, for those who haven't it's not in the best cosmetic condition as one of the previous owners thought they were an expert with body work.. and well.. you know how the story goes. As mentioned by Satan in another thread it's a great beginner bike, I found it great to learn on as I'm sure the next person will too. It's not too powerful, but it has enough to get out of it's way. It would also make for a great daily rider if someone wanted to keep their pretty bike as their "show" bike. Because it's a sport touring bike it great on longer trips and extended riding. I'm looking to get $1500firm on it as of right now. And I'm in no huge rush to sell it as I love riding it, I'm just starting to feel around for a nicer bike before I move as bikes down in Florida are a bit more expensive then up here. Other then the paint and body the only other thing I can think of is that the starter button broke and there is now a button on the back of the bike to start it. Both a relatively easy fix. (I don't think you can see any of the damage in these pictures, there's a lot of dust and smudges in the last pic but the damage is on the other side). Like I said I'm not in a huge rush to sell it, but I'm just throwing it out there because I'm starting to come across a few bikes that strike my interest, but wouldn't mind riding this for a while.
  21. 1. It's a PC, I can get Linux running on it. 2. First year out, $5k - $10k and aimed at businesses. The article followed that up saying they hope to drop the prices to consumer levels within the next few years. All I can say is MAME. Touchscreen Ms Pacman on your coffee table? Or thousands of other games? That would be way better than an arcade system in your house. And that would just be the beginning.
  22. Stealthy and I are gonna head down shortly.
