That's recommended break-in, but not required. I would run my bike harder than that - up to 6-7000rpms or more for a short periods. The big thing is to vary the RPMs. 500 miles will go by fast. Have fun and wear your gear. so if you are taking too 4k rpms and only going 35???? You know to take it out of 1st gear right?? JK But really some say to break them in the way you are going to ride them. Flounder for instance hit the 4 mile mark on his GSXR 1k at 140 mph. So take it as you will I know all others have different oppinions but I agree to take in KINDA slow then beat the piss out of her like you want too.

victor, I agree way to dumb to be on 2 wheels. But thats all it took was one time to put myself in check. Now its left to cruises and tracks (because thats all I have left bike wise) not ot mention the PARKING LOT only bike. But all i needed was one reality check and I fucking got it the hard way. Well the bike has seen better days and my leg looks like someone implanted a softball in my thy. So I had to call a few of you from the scene but heres the run down reguardless of what I told you when I called (due to cops) 2nd gear wheelie front pegs. That kind of somes it up but I will go into detail. Came back with Denny (my roomate) behind me and basicaly came up too far. As I did I for some reason thought I could run and catch the bike but rolled on the throtle. In turn I fell back at around 85mph hit my dirty ass white Icon lid on some newly paved road and remember thinking Yota said when he wrecked this was fun. And Fuck that, that sucked. But as I was rolling I came up and saw the bike catch the rear sub frame and kick up in the air atleast 25-30 feet at its hights and thinking fuck that would have been a great track bike. Kinda wierd what goes through your head at a time like that. But all in all the bike went a total of 300ft and I went about 200 from what the cop said. The bike is fucked so if anyone needs parts let me know because some of them you can use but most you cant. The battery went another 200 ft and the mirors and head light with the speedo were atatched at the exhaust which was bent at 90 deg. Flounder has the pics soo he will post them. well it looks like its unanimous. thanks I guess it looks like the stock plastics are for sale if anyone wants them they are for an 04 6thousand. hell yeah this is the guy that took my bike to Indy and brought it back. He raised the GSXR back to stock hight and its bad ass now. And thanks to Clutch I like the back wheel on the highway. But I would not own a bike that doesnt have the supsension set up on it they handle soo much better. Getrdone its worth it.

Hey fucks I have a nice rear wheal drive 8 cyl that can play If you want to that is. It has a belt driven turbo with an intake manifold made out of recylced beer cans thats very fun.
