Hey Kirk, for some reason I found a ton of them in Illinois round Chicago. There's a Steel Blue one with under 20K on the clock for $32K I've had my eye on. I was on cars.com when I found a bunch of them up for grabs.

Mr.Jones and I spoke about the B6 S4, and it seems like a pretty stable/reliable platform. Like anything German related, you have to pay to play. But in the same aspect, the Cherokee SRT8 is along those same guide lines. Brembo brakes on all 4 corners, along with the parts associated with the 6.1 Hemi aren't exactly cheap either. Was that S4 red per chance?

I've got a Dodge Ram I want something 4 door, quick, AWD, and not to mention aftermarket parts availible for it. I looked at the Raptor F150's, but I don't think I'll be happy. I've driven a few SRT8's and love them. I want some owner info on one before I drop $30K. I still need to get behind the wheel of an Audi S4 to confirm.

-Agreed, with the TBSS, I'm not impressed and know their track record. -I know the Hemi motors tend to run fat, so from what I've heard a tune can work miracles on the 6.1's. Especially since the SRT8 Cherokees are AWD. -I'd be interested in a 4th Gen, just haven't seen a new JGC to say if I like it or not. I've been looking into a few SRT8's and found quite a few under the 15K milage range. Not to mention found the blue/gray color I like. For me the combo of 4 doors, V8, AWD, and relatively fun all fit in a nice package I can keep my junk in. I know there's a few on here, granted not as many as the TBSS crowd, but wanted to hear your overall opinion of the vehicle and any issues you may have had. From what I know is the tranny pan likes to leak a bit, and the Brembos on all 4 corners aren't cheap to replace rotors. I haven't heard anything out of the SRT8 Cherokee crowd, so I was curious. (This is one of the few vehicles I've been looking at for my DD.) PS- Don't care to hear about the TBSS option.

Doing good, it's a bit different than I expected, but never the less I seem to be the only one prepared for the spring thaw in the mountains. Finally getting commo with the outside world is pretty damn nice. Sweet! I've been wanting to do a CQB Elite possibly, but I like the no frills CQB. I figure since the shitty health care bill got through those commies on the hill, our 2nd Amendment Rights could always be next on the chopping block. I plan to pick up a few Sig's aswell, mostly a 220 and a 226 to start things off. You'd be amazed at the amount of Sigs running around on officer's hips. I'll be home in September for mid-tour leave, so I'll get with you for lunch or something. Maybe you can help me with my to buy list when I get in. Have yet to see a 2WD/4.6 Raptor yet. Everyone that has come through PPC has been a 4WD/5.4. I'll be crunching some #'s on one here when I get the opportunity.

I arrive from the mountains I've got a 00 Ram Sport 4X4 with the 5.9 (Non-Hemi 360ci). I picked it up when it had about 40K on the clock, and now it sits I believe close to 80K. I have the club cab version, which back then was somewhat considered their "crew" cab, but in today's aspects it's just an extended cab. Haven't really had any issues other than a $15 tranny sensor, fluids, tune up etc.. Granted due to it's pig like nature, I'm lucky to see an average of 13 MPG. So it's not exactly fuel efficient by any means. Now the Hemi became availible in 03, but I say skip it for an 04/05. Diablo Sport has tuning software availible, not to mention a billion parts to free up some MPG's. I've been leaning towards a Jeep Grand Cherokee myself, for my mom has owned atleast 3 of them and hasn't had too many issues. The only thing I know of is the full time AWD system has a few bugs with them. I've heard of the Hemi Cherokees having a few more issues then in comparison to the 4.7 non-hemi. (Not to mention no need for 16 plugs like the Hemi) I will say the only 2 trucks I would buy at the moment would be a Dodge or a Ford.

Since being overseas is like prison, I figure going to the gym daily isn't such a bad thing, especially since I already started a routine, I don't want to stop. I think the wife will agree with you having a side piece. Don't get all Tiger Woods on it and bang filthy skanks, but the nice sexy office freaks.
