If you want to make a PT test go off of Army standards. Time a 2 mile run, and do as many pushups/situps in 2 minutes as you can. My last 2 mile was a joke, but I did a 16:07

We've been getting parts of Hurricane Ike down here in Louisiana. We ended up having to use an up-armored humvee due to the high winds and debris flying around. We had sustained gusts up over 85mph through out the day.

I was a senior in High School in religion class when we saw the first TV report of it. For some reason I knew it wasn't an accident, and the middle east had something to do with it. I think that day solidified my mind with joining the Army. I pray to God another 9/11 happens ever again. And God Bless all those that died, their families, and those overseas taking the fight back to those that did it.

My personal under pillow weapon is my Glock 23 loaded with Federal Hydrashock 180 grain .40S&W. I also have a set of heine night sights and a Surefire X200 tac light. To be honest, I would stick with atleast .40S&W for knock down power. I would deffinately stick with the Glock or Smith and Wesson M&P series, seeing how your mother may end up using it. Most personal defense rounds are also made to not over penetrate too. That means you won't have stray rounds going every where, and if you hit your target, the cavitation will be greater. Glock models in .40 - 22, 23, 27 and 35. Smith and Wesson - M&P40 I'd go out to Blackwing since you're in Marysville, rent atleast those 2 and shoot them both.

M1 Garand = 30-06 caliber, 8 shot box style mag M1 Carbine = .30cal, 15-20 round detatchable mag. M1A = 7.62X51mm NATO (.308) aka M14 rifle, with detatchable 20 round mag, based off M1 Garand. Aka M24 sniper platform.

I'd post my collection, but can't from my cell. About "Class 3" weapons, personally not worth the hastle. One reason I stayed part time Army is that reason. I still get plenty of trigger time with my baby the M240B, M2 .50 cal, and last the M249 SAW. Why spend my own money on ammo, licenses, weapons on top of having the ATF on my ass like white on rice. Granted it would be fun to own fully automatic weapons, but I can do just fine with semi-auto double taps.
