Well I honestly don't know what type of a rider I am! I built "dirt bikes" I bought in bushel baskets and boxes as a kid. Rode motocross. Got into street bikes in the late 70s. The one thing I like about having different bikes is that you can ride most any day no matter what the weather is like. "Adventure" riders see more of the world than any other riders. Pavement gets boring, especially here in central/western Ohio.

49 and I love the age I am. My kids are grown and gone. I have a good job and money to do what I want!

This looks like fun. If I wasn't on call I would be all over it. If you see another event post it and if I am around would like to ride my KLR.

That was surreal dude! I couldn't see shit.. but at least I didn't get swamped by some cage coming the other way. Well my leather is now clean. Great time!

When on any of my bikes I where gear. Read the thread "Ninja Down", and he low sided. Nick and I have been friends for a few years now and glad he was wearing gear so he wasn't really messed up.

Nick! Freaked me out with the text message yesterday we were just heading out the door for dinner. Let me know if you need anything to get the bike right. Don't forget to add the cost of a new helmet in to that repair bill.

Another place to hang is at Kil-Kare. They have Two-Wheel Tuesdays every other week. I was out the a few weeks ago and met a few guys that were into trackdays all over the US. Also met a guy that is a Parts Unlimited Dealer along with his other business. Nick knows that I am into all kinds of bikes including vintage Kaws and Urals. Not much into the Harleys. If anyone wants to meet up one evening somewhere I am in and I don't really like riding the back roads after the sun goes down. We could also do a "wrenchfest" one weekend or Friday evening and have a cookout plus if anyone needs something done on their bikes the resident experts can help them out.

Nick, I am headed out to change my oil right now. I wish I had a new set of rubber but will have to wait til next week to order that. For those that are worried about keeping up... don't. I make Nick wait all the time at the stop signs for me. I make too much money to be out riding like I am Valentino Rossi. For those that want to run fast they can...and for those that want to work on riding skills it will be great. It's all in fun and we don't need anyone to push it over their limit. I saw it posted on Craigslist and though about checking it out. I went to one sponsored by Walnecks at the Clarke County Fairgrounds in Springfield last week. It was mainly Harley stuff and a few old jap parts dealers. I did see a bunch of old CB550s and 750s for sale. I am looking for a cheap one to do a cafe racer. He Jeremy when I was a kid my grandparents live in W. Harrison and I used to come down from NY to visit. I went through there a few weeks ago on my way to Batesville, IN man has Harrison changed. Still have cousins that live around there.

I hate riding on the street as there are so many a$$holes. Hey the 750 started yesterday!! Bonus, but ran like sh1t..need to clean carbs x 3. BTW Not sure where in NH you are... but Penguin Racing is offering their last race school/trackday in NH for this year, on Friday Oct 5. It is $250 for the school and then the bike rental on top. Once you complete the course you can race on Sat in a "novice" race if you want to. I was going to go up but work screwed everything. Their school is at New Hampshire Intl Speedway. Dude it's all about the Quad cores now and 4 Gigs of DDR2 with 512 of DDR3 on the VC...you are using a Commodore 64!!!. And someday you are going to say to someone "damn look at that 2008 ZX-14. Nick I should be able to make it. If you are going to meet the Columbus riders near Wilmington then I will meet you there also as it is just as close for me as going to the Marathon. Let's make the meet in Wilmington at the Clinton County Motorsports exit. That way there is food, gas, etc at that exit. If you know of a better exit let me know. Should I ride the Ninja or the KZ???

That really sucks. I talked to a guy last night at Quaker Steak while my wife and I were there eating and he told me about this accident. No.. it's not worth trying to out run a ticket. I wish reporters would get their facts straight...I didn't know Kawasaki made a "Kawasaki Ninja NX-12R". Makes you wonder about the rest of his fact finding.

Will try and make it there around 730. I will be on the green ZX6R with factory jacket.

IF you want to try and make it to QSL (Beavercreek) on Thursday I will try and make it. My job keeps me running so can never tell if I will be home and at what time. If anyone wants to set a time to meet let me know and I will try to be there.
