  1. It's the only car in the garage that's faster than me, if that's any consolation.
  2. Sadly, California is one state I cannot run plates for. He's lucky, I'd be posting a link to the vid and his home phone number all across the internet.
  3. I can help out w/ that. lmk when you wanna go. Thanks for the help tonight. It all makes sense now. .. and .. no laughing at my rattling key. .
  4. A lil advice. fill the tank completely with water before you decide to weld on it.
  5. Yeah, that sux. anyone have a lop sided rear stand they don't need?
  6. Just read this on an ad for a rear stand.

  8. The cones spots are painted on the ground as well, they weren't that difficult. If someone is willing to come to the Alum Creek BMV and show me how the u-turn is done, I'll have Jason meet us up there.
  9. Only because they're riding I asked the cop who works in our office how to pass the test, he said to do it just like he and everyone else does. Pass all of it and screw the u-turn. Sounds good to me. If you were allowed to put a foot down during the u-turn it would be a lot easier.
  10. I was eyeballing a flywheel in the garage this weekend wondering if I could make it work.
  11. Yep, actually I unplugged the PCIII and it pretty much resolved itself. I'm surprised that even with the stock map and the stock performance map it would not run better than it did. I'm at 16k miles, once I get the valves adjusted I'll be in the market for a new pipe for it. Then I'll revisit the PC.
  12. We literally tried to push the bike around in the box painted on the parking lot. There was absolutely no way to turn that sharp. I've heard of people taking the test on goldwings before, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how they passed it.
  13. Yeah, we checked out the parking lot at the Alum Creek BMV. You can't even push our bikes in a tight enough circle to do the u-turn part. It's gonna take a pretty damn small bike.
  14. Jason is in need of a beater but street legal bike to take his test on. Anyone has one to loan or rent, let me know.
  15. Call that number and tell them what a bunch of nutsacks they are.

    Valve time

Time to get the valves adjusted on the 929. Any suggestions on where to take it and what to do to lower the price? What should I expect to pay someone to adjust them?

    HJC Animus

Bought a new lid, so if anyone needs an extra large HJC, I've had it for about a month. It was $166 new + $25 for the smoke lens. I'll take $75 bucks for it and both lenses. If nobody wants it, I'll put it on craigslist for $100. IP link http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/ ... 20PRODUCTS
  20. We were just talking about getting suspension changed every month for a pregnant rider. Welcome to the site, there's good people here.
