We have a variety of cars that will be up and running this weekend for the ford event. We're crossing our fingers that Jason will have the cobra back. Supposed to be putting 600hp to the wheels according to the builder and the tuner.

I can't believe how hard it is to get decent customer service *rant*

Joe Rocket Blaster 3.0 just saved my ass and was more comfortable and much cooler than my textile jacket. -
Pain + beer + one handed typing = no sense of spelling, grammar or any other writing skills.

Well, damage is minimal, my knees both look like the pic (taken on the scene). my right arm is pretty swollen, but I'm a crybaby so it feels worse than it looks. Bike lost a mirror, front wheel and rear brake lever. A few minor scratches but otherwise not bad.

I have a lot of faith in fate. And today kind of sums it up for me. It started when I left the house this morning. I always do a mini wheelie when I turn onto Alkire as my "get the stupid shit out of the way" gesture. Well, same as usual, 4500 rpms, roll into it and for some reason it stood all the way up . . 12:00 style. I should have turned around and parked the bike and drove the Durango. Of course, I didn't. Went to Jason's to ride up and get him a new leather jacket, ( wearing my own shiny new Joe Rocket leather jacket and even shinier (according to the person who prices shit at pony) new leather gloves.). I get to J's and we head off to Iron Pony. Somewhere along the way, I'm taking the entrance ramp to 270 and some stupid bitch on her cell phone swerves onto the ramp I'm on, getting ONTO 270, and almost hits me (keep in mind, she's already on 270 and there's not an exit coming up). Jason almost hits me when I swerve to miss her passenger side mirror. whew . . very close call. We get in and out of IP fairly quickly and head for Easton Mall. We're in and out of there pretty quickly and on our way headed back to 270 when some straight pimpin guy in his Cadillac Brougham with the 24" gold wire wheels cuts in front of me and locks 'em up at a red light trying to swap paint with me. "Jeez" I'm thinkin, "wtf is with people today??" . We finally make it back to J's house, narrowly avoiding a speeding ticket thanks to all three lanes being blocked by people doing 45 on 270. Jason says "Hey, I found a brand new warehouse that's unoccupied where we can practice some low speed maneuvering etc." So we headed up to check it out. Well, all I can say is that it's BEAUTIFUL! Perfect, brand new, outside of town, nothing around us but this huge empty building. So I head around the parking lot to see what's up with the back side of it.. Fate jumped out and grabbed me by the balls and said "your turn!". As I came around one of the corners, I hit a patch of gravel at about 40 - 45 mph. The bike disintegrated right there. I was hovering for about 10 feet then fell straight on my face. I low sided, but the damn bike decided to right itself about the time I faceplanted and rode off by itself into the dirt (saved me about 600 bucks worth of paint and plastic). I however hit pretty hard. My brand new J.R jacket and gloves and Scorpion Exo 700 Crackhead helmet are trash. My front wheel is all bent up, along with a busted mirror and other small bits of the bike. Both of my knees are all rashed up from wearing levis. My right arm is more than likey broken at the wrist, and possibly fractured at the elbow according to Jason's RN wife. We'll find out tomorrow. I was lucky today, it happened in an empty parking lot instead of on the hiway. It cost me probably 1200-1500 bucks, but I'm alive and sitting here typing one handed drinking a cold beer telling you folks that if it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't gonna get any better. Don't test fate, she wins every time.

yep, I needs me a front wheel for my 929. I'm not sure what all years will fit, but I did hear the 954 is the same.

I now have some awesome gear for sale, only one wreck involved.

Well, the carbs weren't synched, carb linkage wouldn't open to full throttle, the trans blanket was blocking the shifter, multiple gremlins tonight, but two runs at Pacemakers sent him home with 1.7 60 ft, 7.40 @ 94 mph. Considering these two trips were his first trips ever down the track, I figure some seat time and some tuning will get him into the high 9's without spraying it.

Bikini Bike Wash!! I keep suggesting, but I know nobody in Ohio . . I keep expecting Asian to come up with something but he keeps letting me down.
-
if she's big enough, she could turn around backwards and ride with two people at a time

Screw it, it's an older model Yosh, but it's on its way.

This is THE only can I can find besides a Scorpion that I can get faster than one month. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3AAAQ%3AUS%3A1&viewitem=&item=190126849892

Well, I "tried" to order that one. . . http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/jc_motorcycle_exhausts He sold me a pipe that he never had in inventory, which (as it turns out) is discontinued. Of course, he did not notify me until 1 hour after my payment was processed through paypal. So, I call the guy, and he starts asking me what other kind of pipe I would consider. I politely explain to him that I bought a certain pipe from him and that is the pipe I want. He takes my cell # and says he'll call me back in ten minutes. I call back an hour later and he's not taking my calls. So now I have to wait for a dispute with paypal to go through while he sits on 450 bucks of mine and "shops around". Stay away from him, you're better off at www.hardracing.com We should have a "Bitch about retarded vendors" forum.

The bike's the only one I get to keep =P

It seems the Micron black/red is out of stock everywhere. If I can't find it, I'll buy this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-Akrapovic-Carbon-Bolt-on-Exhaust-Honda-CBR-929-RR_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ35596QQihZ013QQitemZ230048172110QQtcZphoto

Ok, instead of shooting down D&D and leaving it at that, why not make some suggestions? I want something about twice as loud as stock. You've been no help so far.

Well, it's finally up and running and will be on the track this weekend and since the original pic is broken, here's another. Yota and Asian got to see it in action. He couldn't hold it still long enough to do a burn out, he left more rubber on the road from pushing the front tires around than from the rear. We've decided he gets around 3 gallons per mile. I still say he's faster than me. . .

Rdgrn? . .. . . I love Red Green. http://www.redgreen.com/

Me and theboy will be riding along. Jason *may* come along, depending on his wife.

For my 929RR, I hear that the D&D is the best pipe for me, but I'm really loving the Micron black to red fade. I don't want something tooooooo loud, but I want something billy bob can hear over his truck exhaust and his patsy cline 8 track. I need to keep it around four bills. This is suhweet looking.
