2001 Suzukit Bandit 600s The idle is low until it REALLY warms up, and will stall out if i try and give it gas right after starting it...And it hesitates sometimes between 4-5k rpms... So yeah,where should I start? Thought about a fuel filter, but found out it doesn't have one. It does have 3 inline fuel check valves(whatever those are), and I thought maybe the petcock might be clogged? Also, the manual says run 87,but I"ve been putting 93 in it, since I have on all my bikes, could that cause an issue? thanks

Lol, the lottery to get into the class, since we didn't register. If the class is full but all the people don't show, they hand out tickets for however many open spots there are, then randomly draw the tickets from a hat to fill the class. Thanks guys, we actually just got back from a 5 hour ride, had a good time and explored some roads north of here. I'm so glad I picked up this bandit, much more comfortable with a passenger than the sv650 I had last year. We saw a black zx6r i think up at polaris mall w/ an OR.com sticker on it, had a nice exhaust, but the funny thing was it had tags on it that expired last november...oops.

My fiance and I both won the lottery and got into the class this week and finished the BRC yesterday, both passing and getting our endorsements! Definitely excited, I've had my temps the past two years so it'll be nice to be completely legal now. But I gotta give it up to my fiance, she rocked out awesome, for having NEVER been on a motorcycle before, so definitely happy she did so well. Downside is now she wants her own bike, lol. Another bonus to the weekend is my new bike got a complete tuneup and runs MUCH better (had been sitting for 2 years when I bought it last week) from a fellow rider/member here, Hoblick, so many thanks goes to him. Rides much better now, still needs a few tweaks but hey, its fun. We hope to come out to some bike nites soon and hit up a group ride here and there, see you guys soon! Matt

I have a truck but need a trailer to move my bike from Bexley to Hilliard. It needs a tune up bad and I don't trust it to ride over to my buddies house. I live in Bexley and will pick up and return it asap. Call me if possible 614-595-5536, $20 or chipotle or whatever? thanks Matt

You guys think 6000k for hid's would be good? Seems to be the brightest but have some color, I want that slight blue look, not purple, but not bright white. Or does anyone know if the yellow is illegal for low beams? That could be cool too...

Hmm, gonna contact STG to see if they price match...Anyone know if the Pilot Road Tires (or the 2ct ones) are any good? I want to get good miles out of them and want to be able to ride in all conditions if traveling, but also want to hit some turns for fun sometimes as well. What's the timeframe on front/rear tires on the bike? Like how long would you guys need the bike?

Yeah, I was wondering what plastics some of those had on there, looked different for sure. I haven't looked into this much, but do you know if the bandit shares anything with other bikes, or is the ducati tail custom fit? Cat, do you have a bandit, or did you?

Thanks, I did some googling, but I don't have a manual, and I was hoping that someone else with a bandit could tell me what bulb/kit I need for the headlights, as there are many out there and if I could find a plug and play one I could actually install it myself, whereas a universal one I'd need a wiring ninja to help.

Just picked up a 2000 Bandit and want to see what changes are available for it....nothing crazy but wouldn't mind doing a few things. 1st, the pipe is huge, chrome, ugly, and quiet. Do they make a slip on for these, or can I just cut the pipe down and paint it black? Anyone done that? Do they make a high temp paint for pipes? 2nd, the bike has projectors in the headlights, does anyone know of an hid kit for these bikes, or is anyone good with wiring? I had hid's in my car, it'd be cool on the bike.

its been awhile, but i think pilot power something or others is what i ran on my old one, had no issues with them. I will be needing new tires for the bike i picked up yesterday, so i'm gonna start pricing them soon as well.

Holy shit, is that like the min requrired state coverage that is a joke? Like $10k or whatever? Damn, not sure if I'd be comfortable w/ that little coverage but that's CHEAP. Best I got for decent liability insurance, no coverage for bike, was like $400/year, i'm 23, had a speeding ticket two years ago tho...but c'mon you have a sport bike too...dammn.
