2001 Suzuki katana 750 14k miles, red, runs good, but ain't pretty. Both fairings are ROUGH, and there is no windshield, headlight and rear fairings are both in great shape. Needs one mirror and front turn signal covers. Was used as a track/pit bike only and is pretty much only good for it, that's why it's been down a few times. $1000 obo 1988 Kawasaki Jetski 550sx standup Runs good, smokes some as they all do, but nothing bad. Was repainted by previous owner all white at some time, but overall decent shape, the top cover has a 3-4" crack it in, but obviously is superficial, little glue/bondo would be fine. I'm sure with a $20-$30 rattle can job and some sanding this thing would clean up super nice, but I mainly bought it because it ran and is fun. $500obo Take BOTH for $1200obo. dude, for $3grand NEW, that wouldn't be a bad bike to rock as a daily/commuter, it'll still cruise the hwy just fine and looks sweet too. ***This is assuming it can at least move out of its own way, the only bikes I've ridden are a 996 vtwin and a gsxr750, lol, but I'd still consider it.

Nope, 50% is legal, which is basically like not even having tint. And that only applies to the windshield/front two windows, the rest you have anything.

Ouch, that's harsh. In reality I'm not sure how the police kept in him sight that long on the hwy without him noticing, but apparently that's not a good enough reason. Honestly 85-90mph doesn't seem that fast to not pull over, that's only 20-25mph over, which is nothing but a fine and couple points, I know, I've got it personally. But I guess in the heat of things its tempting to run, and this time it didn't pay off. I assumed he was cookin', like 120+ or something to run, which is the only time I've ever done it. Man, I hope the best for him, 18 months is rediculous, you guys might want to contact Sam Schemanksy, he's good friends of my parents and lives a couple houses down, anyways he's EXCELLENT at what he does and this applies directly, he's helped me out before. I bought an 01 katana 750 as a track only bike, basically because its rough around the edges and it was CHEAP. I dont want to go down anytime, but I wont feel at all bad if I drop this or whatever. Thanks for the info, I'll look into it, when is everyone planning on going next?

I'm looking for some more info on track days, nothing competitive at least right now, just go out and have some fun and get some practice under my belt. Where do you guys usually go? What's the setup/schedule? What's it cost, etc etc? Is a katana 750 a bad bike to track? lol

Well my cable is $75/month for roadrunner/digital cable, and during the summer my gas averages $15 or 20/month and my electric around $75, and then that just flips in the winter, the gas goes up, electric goes down. I'd say for gas/electric/cable it's usually under $150/month, but like when its been super hot these past few weeks my electric was like $110, but not normal again. My utilities have never been over $200 for all 3 in a month.

I live off Sawmill/Hard Road, and have been at the same place for over 2 years. Only reason I'm not renewing my lease this time is because I've been house searching and will hopefully buy something. I live in Olde Mill Lakes, 2bed/2bath, 1300sqfeet, $620/month. NEVER had a problem and I leave my car doors unlocked/windows down ALL the time, as well as leave my apt unlocked more than I should, lol, but I'm just so comfortable, its very quiet and a great location for me.

i think its the tire, mine is the same way, i hate it, and my tire is basically near bald in the center and full tread on the sides, I bought it like this and have only put a few hundred miles on it, but I'm thinking its just the transition from leaning. if the bike doesn't sell asap then i'm doing a new rear tire.
