  3. I thought about stopping by, but the Cobra show is this weekend in London and hilliard this weekend as well, Cobra's sound cooler than mustangs. Take pics!!
  4. what's up zach, you gonna be out at qsl tonight? still got the 600?
  5. I'm down with 3 others, we'll be riding from blacklick
  6. I thought about getting one, they look badass now and for a new bike its a great price. But I decided to get an 01 SV650s, i love it.
  7. 01 Suzuki SV650S, just rolled 1,025 miles, mint condition, runs great, new battery last week, blue, needs nothing, but I need $3500, its a great bike with very low miles, call if interested, 614-595-5536
  8. Well the lady told me she had her bf drain the gas and put a gallon of new gas in it, and I topped it off on my way home after not even a mile of riding, so it should've mixed I would think, but how hard is it to clean a carb? shit I don't eve know what a carb looks like, lol
  9. well now it doesn't want to start, lol. I'm betting its the carbs as they haven't been cleaned since 2003, even though that may have only been 500 miles ago. So anyone wanna come over any clean the carbs? food/beer on me? Or just trouble shoot and bs, lol, thanks for the tips guys, I did find the knob/screw on the left side like you all said, but I need it running to play with it. Matt - 614-595-5536
  10. Yeah, she had the carb's cleaned in 2005, lol, so maybe due again, but it seriously seems like it has cruise control, haha. I can shift and not give it gas and maintain a good speed, but I want to fix it because I sound retarded sitting at a stop sign. I will be changing the oil, I checked it, it was full and clean, but the lady did say it had never been done. thanks guys
  11. Fixed it with that idle adjustment on the left side of the bike, took 5 seconds, thanks guys!!
  12. Yeah I googled it, and found out about it a little more. Apparently some people have had luck filling the handle bars with buckshot? lol Sounds weird. I'll check with MrBret and see if I can't check his out to see, my superhawk vibrated enough for my liking.
  13. Thanks for the input, can you elaborate on the vibration issues on the Z1000? Are you talking about at certain speeds or just engine vibration through the bars or what?
  14. Looking for a new bike and have about $4-$5k to spend. Previous bike was a Honda Superhawk 996, which I liked except for the top end power, so I'd like something similar or at least quicker. I've never ridden any other bikes so I have nothing to compare it to... Found a few on craigslist that sounded interesting...what are people's thoughts? 2004 Kawasaki Z1000, 4k miles, needs a rear tire but otherwise nothing...Asking $4500, is that ok? Is this a fun bike and good around town and good if I want my girl to ride with me some? Next is a 2003 YZF-600R, 10k miles, $4000, looks nice but same questions as above. ****EDIT - I found some SV650s's for a decent price, all the way from a 2000 with only 800 miles on it for $3k to a 2007 with 2500 miles on it for $5k, what about these bikes? Thanks guys, if anyone knows of a bike for around $4k for sale, lmk!
  15. I generally disagree with arms and whatnot on financing and I personally did a 30 year fixed rate on my house, but my dad bought his house last year knowing full well he'd only be there a year or two because he was going through a divorce and just needed a place to live for the time being and took out a 5-year arm, He got 7/8's of a percent lower rate and that was worth it. He makes a shitload of money and only bought a $175k house, so its not like he can't afford it, it just suited his needs at the time. But yes, generally people take out arms/io's/etc in order to afford the house they want, which is stupid. I don't make near what my dad does and therefore I wanted the security of a fixed rate mortgage, and knew that I could afford. But I do agree, MI and Dominion SUCK DONKEY DICK. I wasn't considering a new build (I bought in Bexley) but some friends have gone through the hassle.
  16. Do $4000? It's a bit more than I wanted to spend but then again its a lot newer too. lmk
  17. yeah, auto/stick I dont care. auto would be easier for the wife. I found a few 98/99/00's for under $3k with around 120k miles, in pretty good shape. Test driving two of them today, we'll see. I just want to be able to throw a bike or two in there or my jetski's.
  18. he already said you can't even close it period, why would taking up more space make you think it would close? lol
  19. well i guess that's not that bad, I was just noticing the late 90's s10's are CHEAP and say they get mid 20 mpg on the hwy, that's a shitload better than my 11-12mpg on the hwy. can a 4cylinder/auto/2wd haul a couple bikes just fine in the bed? I'm thinking about picking one up for a couple grand
  20. my question about the rangers/s10's/sonoma's is can you close the tailgate? just curious? I've got an 8ft bed in my silverado and have PLENTY of room front/back to throw shit.
  21. damn!! thats some miles, lol. well if its a 4door and you aren't asking an arm and a leg, hit me up when you're ready to sell, I need another car, we're using my sister's while she's away at college, but she comes home soon.
  22. bump for price drops!!! pics here... http://s159.photobucket.com/albums/t124/BAM614_Cobra/
