  1. Well the truck has been plowing strong....Thank god its all cosmetic, Cuz I drilled that shit!! Lets see, 6000pd truck+1500pd plow+1500pds of salt+65mph=NOT STOPPING IN TIME...oh well it was still a blast and that is what insurance is for.
  2. Joe, Im down ill pm you and give you my number. Ill have my plow on.lol. but i drift with the best of them. I got a wreckless op at 315 and ackerman 3 years ago. NOT a good spot...I used to stunt ride at cooper, its a good spot. I was hoping for something closer
  3. heres the thing i dont want to pay cuz its under warranty. and ford will do it for free, I just cant get in til tomorrow. Went to advanced and their code reader thingy couldnt wouldnt work....the plug was kinda busted though. So Im gonna go to another advanced i think.
  4. There is no tricks to the trade it is all common sense stuff. I do not fear any other plowers because there is so much work in columbus. EVERYONE that plows knows these things. It is not a big secret that there is a Ton of money to be made in plowing. I dont mind telling people my expenses if it helps someone else to help themselves in the future.

ps. benz guy i live right by Green meadows, right on powell rd. Look for the big white F-250 on the right hand side jsut before green meadows...

    pps...Subcontractors make $55 to $65 and hour.

  5. No i own a mowing company, so just about everyone that I mow for I plow for. I spend about : Gas-$200 anight, Salt $800-1000(but you are charging them per bag and also for the labor of spreading it)...so REally no cost to me, I make it right back. When its all said and done, after paying out to the guys that work for me adbn gas...I spend roughly $1500. Then my truck payment ($550). So I atleast make around $3000 in profit. Yes you write everything off including the coffee you drink...lol. To the clothes that you "only" plow in
  6. Yes...but you have to have accounts. Thats the hard part. Its not just get a truck and start plowing. But yes, I bought my truck 4 months ago($26k) and hope to have it paid off by the end of this winter...if it keeps snowing....if not then by the end of this year....Then its all profit.
  7. For me....$5000-7500 is an average night...like snow we had couple weeks ago...just depends on how much salt I have to throw....

But I have a buddy that has a truck that works for me, plus a shoveler in his truck and a shoveler in my truck...So I dont make all that for myself, Just most of it ;)

  8. Ill be out and about Rockin Polaris, Worthington, and Clintonville. I hope those four inches drift up this way and we get more than the two they say. I LOVe drifting my truck with my plow and spreader on back :burn:

ps. Sam do you work for yourself or someone else? what kind of truck?

  9. i have a check engine light on in my 05 F-250. I have to plow later today b/c they are calling for snow. I really want this looked at asap. Does anyone have a code reader....is this something that people charge for to do? I know the truck is still under warranty, but i cant get it in till tomorrow. if easier call me at 614-354-9575
