ummm I spun the stang

I'm doubting it will be this year to be honest. It will be out for sure but it won't be anything fast until mid late next year I'm sure.

I traded my katana. It's not in the greatest shape body wise but it drives and such fine. Over all I don't think it was a bad deal. he had it listed for 3200. I had been offered at most 2800$ cash for my bike. So for me it was a good deal since my bike has not been ridden this year really. So when looking for a GT40 head/intake what do I look for at the junkyard? Anyone bored want to go with me and what should I expect to pay

Right now I'm pretty sure we have settled on a weekend warrior. Something that can click off an 11 and drive home assume It don't break something. The first major thing happening to the car is all the rust sanded down and primered. Then I'm going to start looking for some replacement body pieces. My wife is not looking for show room quality. she looks for something that looks nice rumbles loud and can go fast. Something she can take out to car club on friday nights and not be ashamed. Should I go to a Junkyard to get the gt40 heads or should I just buy them off CL or Ebay? I signed up on buckeyestangs it seemed like a pretty cool site.

Thanks for the heads up I had considered it. The idea of NA sounds fun but I think it would cost a shit load. or even spray. It's hard to decide I will let the compression test lead the way.

There is some rust, Spot in the back and a few other smaller spots. the body pan seemed fine. Its going up in the air next weekend for more stuff. Step 1 is to get the chassis tightened up. I'm going to do the tie rod ends next weekend. a tune up this. start sanding a few of the body rust spots. I was hearing i could get new fenders for sub 100$ for the front.

the peddles are very close together but I think its going to end up getting a automatic next year.

I just took it to the mechanic who built my tranny he told me to change the plugs clean the filter toothbrush the throttle body and next weekend were going to start going through and replacing tired pieces. I'm thinking single turbo but I'm not sure yet. there are Ebay kits for 1700$

Is there anyway to find ut what engine work has been done. The previous owner said there was engine work done but he was not sure what all was done. The owner before had done a motor rebuild. - The motor sounds and pulls strong. I'm not beating out it though until IPS or Gearhead or Dyno brian can give it a good once over 2. The mods I know are (flow master 40's / king cobra clutch / subframe connectors / KnN intake ) Thats all the mods I know for sure. What's next? Headers? H-Pipe? What's the standard build up of one of these. 3. Rust, No I'm not going to truck bed liner it.
