ok guys, I'm pretty sure this is whats going on but I can't remeber the tech spec off my head. I'm 99% sure its because lots of people are using it right now it caps you. Because if you set it at 6 it works. Some times i can get 7 to work. With 6 connections I can pull down 800KB. I will get exact clarifcation eather tommorow or in a week. But this is not a cap per say.

I'm going to be picking up some laptops from were I used to work, I will have some Compaq Armada P3 750's with 128-256mb of ram and 12-20gig drives. They will have windows 2000 on them as it runs the fastest, They work great for surfing the web typing reports what ever. I cannot guartee anything for batterys as they are older machines.
