    Heaters

It heats my 2.5 car garage very nice. In 38 degree weather it heared my garage to about 75 degrees. I work in a t shirt in my garage. Time ro get to that temp i dont know. I usually kick it on and hang out in my house for 30 min then head to the garage. I usually end up turning the heater on the low setting after about an hour cause it gets hot in there while working. My garage is a detached (100ft from my house) block garage 22x20, but fully insulated, just an fyi I can hold till friday for ya, im in no rush, and i wouldnt be available till friday or weekend anyway

  7. There are a few more things id love to do to the glide, but im having a tuff decision to do them or buy an sv lol
  8. 2 bikes in different genre is great, 3 even better. I cant let go of the street glide. I do to much 2 up touring and its grat for it. But id love another sportbike for solo duties. But i dont get alot of solo ride time, hence why im torn in my decision
  9. Every year my wife and i go on a memorial day ride with my father, and sometimes grand father, or other family members. i was bored and thought id throw a video together for my dad and grandfather of some of the past rides we have done. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmDAhIfKfPw
  10. we have frogg toggs, the light weight ones, they are nice, easy to pack, hardly take any space up in the saddle bags.
  11. man this is what im looking for.. lemme talk to the bank (aka wife)
  12. the cameras i started to narrow down to were.. canon g12 nikon S8200 canon s95 nikon p7000 the g12 and p7000 are a little bigger than i wanted.. i need somethign compact the s8200 just doesnt stack up against the s95, and the s95 is essentially the same camera as the g12, or so i have read... but its more compact. so all signs point to the s95 price is good, its compact, great pictures, shoots in raw, has HD video, manual focus and other manual features. only issue i have, which isnt that big of a deal really is no optical zoom for video, but i think i can overlook that for what im getting for the price and the compactness of it.
  13. anyone have any experience with this camera ill be looking for a new camera here in the future. i have had several cameras.. and i havent found one yet that has fit my needs. i had a nikon d40 great camera just too big to lug around everywhere Canon SX20is again another great camera, smaller, and not a DSLR though, but big enough where sometimes i didnt feel like taking it out of the saddlebag for a photo, sometimes i pull over to get one shot and then take off. need something my wife can carry on the back of the bike, not be huge an obstrusive. i have an older samsung point and shoot that she usually snaps pics with, but its so damaged now from being beating around and thrown in the saddlebag and what not, it was kind of the beater camera that we didnt care if it got broke (still took decent pics though) so anyway.. im looking for a small pocketable camera, that has some high end features. the Canon S95 kind of struck me as that camera.. with all of its manual functions, the ability to shoot in raw, HD video, and its superior low light capabilities. i have had watched some reviews, but am interested in anyone who has had some first hand experience.
  14. lol that for sure wont change. but youll enjoy the 32" LED tv with HD TV that you can watch, while sitting at the bar in my garage.. while you wait for them to be done
  15. These are older model Gerbing's Jacket Liners and may or may not include all the features currently being promoted or advertised by Gerbing's Heated Clothing. the new jackets are a far improvement over these ones.. is it worth the extra $100 doubtful, but just so you know this is the old style jacket liner, with the bigger bulky wire, the new ones use a thinner "nano wire"
  16. this was / may still be the plan i just want to make sure it will hold up. i know prep is key for floor coatings so im prepared to do a very intensive prep job. but i just dont want it coming up and then the floor will look 100 times worse. i very rarely have the cars in the garage, if i do its for oil changes and tire rotations, or to detail them. but i do work on the bike in there and i do tend to drop tools, and spill chemicals on the floor frequently. so im hoping if i do go that route, that it holds up well
  17. its nice looking, clean, and would aid in insulating the floor to keep some of the cold out
  18. im wondering how rolling a jack around, or my bike jack... or using a bike stand (swing arm, or front stand) would be on it. being that there will be a load on it and it has to roll at the same time
  19. looking for garage floor coatings i came across a roll out garage floor covering. they can come in up to 10ft wide. anyone every use this stuff? im just wondering if motorcycle stands will be stable on it, or if a kickstand would indent it or whatever
