i never have had trouble bleeding brakes before. and didnt have a problem now, i was jsut curious about the new fluid type vs. old and if i should evacuate the system comlpetely of the dot 4 or not before putting in the 5.1 after some reading though its no big deal of not evacuating the lines of the old fluid first, jsut push in new and push out old.. just like i did with the other bikes i have done. i was jsut a little concerned with the diferent fluid, but turns out its the same stuff just a better

  8. i see that.. i shot a few XDs, and an XDM im not impressed ill stick with the Glocks
  9. Glock pick a model and try i carry a 27 aand love the thing, accurate as hell, fun to shoot at the range, small enough to carry, not as much muzzle flip as you would expect from a sub compact. if your worried about getting your pinky on the grip, do what i did and get a pearce grip extension but the New Gen 4 Glocks are out, so you might want to check those bad boys out as well.
  10. mine are doing... ok i would say... VFR inspect sprockets/ replace if needed - done New gold DID chain - done EBC HH brake pads - done Flush and fill brake fluid with dot 5.1 - done flush and fill clutch fluid with dot 5.1 - done install vortex billet keyless gas cap - done replace water pump - waiting on water pump to get here flush coolant, fill with engine ice - waiting on water pump to be changed New Plugs - waiting on them to get here clean air filter - waiting till i get the plugs to do at the same time remove pair valve system - again waiting on plugs to do at the same time put new tires on - waiting for warmer weather to wear what little tread i have left off before changing HeliBars - holding off till summer to decide if i really want them Add memory foam to seat - deciding if i still want to do it F4I track bike repair fairings - ehh half way there paint fairing - above needs finished first get new right side peg, been lazy on ordering it on a side note i did get to finish some projects i wanted to do to my garage.. got the entire top of the garage insulated, added some support beams in the rafters since i thought it should have a bit more cleaned it finally and i got all my stuff now to mount and balance tires got my balancer, wheel weights, bars, and adapters i needed to balance VFR wheels, one for BMW wheels, and one for Harleys... now i just need one for ducatis and im set on the other side of the coin thouhg i still need to aquire a chest and back protector for track days. first what frame sliders are these?? i need to replace this one obviously, and i rather get the replacement slider than get a whole new kit this is just the part that is replaceable. it screws into the other part on the bike, second question im gonna put new brake fluid in the viffer, i got some of the new dot 5.1 motul stuff... its for dot 3 & 4 do i need to full flush the brake system and clutch system with something like alcohol first, or can i just add this stuff in and push the old stuff out till its clear. didnt know if it would mix right, i know its a direct replacement for dot 4, but just making sure
  13. sucks to hear, but thats the way it works.. you take the good with the bad. good luck on your search though
  14. the super tuck looks cool, but you will not be disappointed with the kholster. i was kinda leary about it when i got mine, so i ordered one and then a really expensive and very very nice looking dm bullard holster as well. the DM bullard holster i just put on ebay to sell if that tells you anything. the thing that is great about the kholster is you can modify it to fit you... i trimmed mine up to a combat cut, and it works great. best thing is you can hardly feel the gun there. the holster has great build quality. its definately worth giving a shot
  15. yeah it looks like this right now lol
  16. no riding for me the viffer is still awaiting the arrival of its water pump
  17. i figured id throw it up here.. incase anybody wanted it. if you win, obviously you can pick it up from me and there is no shipping charges http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180459196217&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
  18. yeah you have it real bad dont you.. its like 30 degrees and rainy/snowy here. ill trade you locations any time
  19. all i have is a target from the first time out with the G27 Glock 27 at 12 yards and here is from the same day with the sig Sig Sauer Mosquito at 12 yards http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs041.snc3/12858_1278832766649_1104906712_30890547_7319511_n.jpg pretty shot up target from me and my buddy, but the center mass group (big hole lol) was the G27 at 7 yds
  20. cool idea i guess, but i just leave mine in the holster, and i have the knife right by me as welll
  21. i have the Chatterbox XBI (original) for listening to the radio (i have a bluetooth dongle connected to my sirius satalite radio) it works great even at highway speeds. for talking via cell phone its not so great, the person on the other line can hear me good at speeds like 70 mph, but above 60mph i have a hard time hearing them. type of helmet also plays a roll in what you can and cant hear. i hardly ever use the cell phone while riding though. jsut for music or rider to passenger communication
