exactly what i was going for..

as alot of you know my bike was getting painted, and what i wanted it to look like.. and WOW paul did an amazing job.. exactly what i wanted! the flake he put in the black is amazing to say the least. the tinted tail lights and turn signals came out great as well. pictures speak for themselves... need to get some nice high res daytime shots sometime soon.

thanks for the advice. we are both going to take the ccw class here shortly, not just for the permit, but to learn a little more. we are both avid shooters, and gun lovers. so the more you know the better off you are.

ok maybe i mis stated then... she is comfortable the way we have it set up now. not uncomfortable to handle a loaded weapon though. and i know what you are saying though. but i have made it embedded in her brain to treat every firearm as its loaded and she does

she knows how to handle a firearm. and she does treat every firearm as if its loaded. she goes to the range quite often as well. mag out she will check to make sure there isnt a round chambered. she is quite good with a firearm IMO. you keep your weapon how and where you want it, and ill keep mine how it has been for a while now with no issues.

why one isnt chambered is because the wife handles it as well, and we all know glocks dont have actual safeties you disengage. im comfortable to have one chambered at all times, she is not. doesnt take but half a second to chamber a round.then another half a second to pull the trigger. plus i have the dogs as the first line of defense. so once i hear them bark, a round is chambered.

loaded glock 22 with hollow points on the nightstand.. if someone unwanted enters the house, all they will hear is me chambering one

so my buddy at work thinks his quad is really fast, and it is for a quad. 06 honda TRX450R, has the HRC cam kit, HRC head pipe, HRC harness kit, HMF exhuast, and jetted. he thinks he could take my VFR in a 50 yard race. so serious about it he is betting me money he could do it. i take the offer. i know 50 yards is short, but i have an advantage of HP and TQ. his bike makes maybe 46 rwhp, and weighs about 350 lbs my bike makes (from graphs i have seen) 100 rwhp and weighs 480lbs i have launched the bike a few times jsut for the hell of it a couple weeks back and had no problem with the front end lifting, or the tire spinning. him, on the road on the other hand, he will spin and or lift, and will definately lift when he hits 2nd and 3rd. im pretty sure i can take him, but just getting some E - opinions

i do most of my local business with HNW, and though i have had the parts guys have there bothersom moments, i have also had alot of great experiences with them as well. gave me a great deal on my chatterboxes that i bought there, and always get the parts that i order in 4 days. they are bike enthusiasts there, and im glad they are, they know what they are talking about. as for marysville, i dont think id ever buy a bike from them, they are higher on price on almost everything they sell. but i personally know the service manager (Dan), and one of the techs (doug). avid racers, both street bikes, and MX. they know there shit, and the tech (doug) is top notch. he has given me some tips and tricks to help out with some work on my bikes that i didnt want to bring in.
