For the grom.. What will sell Bar clamps Clip ons Upper and lower trees Rearsets Billet gas cap Small mirrors Billets exhaust endcap Case savers, frame sliders, wheel sliders And the best thing you could possibly maje is some sort of adapter to run a different caliper. Alot if SM guys buy adapters to run a brembo caliper. That would be awesome on the grom

I find it so funny how Brian is o so in love with Ducati now that he works for them. if we all could remember back when he worked for KTM he spouted all out about how KTM was the pinnacle of motorcycles and everything they produced was top notch best out blah blah blah. so its funny hearing him tell people stuff when his opinion is obviously biased. id say how much i love whatever brand i work for especially when i get alot of free and discounted shit!

i have the same suit, crashed in it ALOT and its still holding up very well
-
no its not mine. a friend of mine from work picked his up, and he let me take it for a spin. fit/finish: excellent for a $3000 motorcycle. everything is very thought out, paint is top notch, the instrument cluster is fantastic for a small little bike. Seems like it belongs on something a little pricier. The bars are a tad chincy to me, and the mirrors stick out like a sore thumb. only really big thing that bothers me is the swingarm is cheap looking, like it came straight off the XR100 and got painted black. Ergos: i fit alot better than i thought i would on it. the seat height is 31" and you can tell. its got alot more leg room to the pegs than i thought as well. bars are at a good height, though like i mentioned in the above category, a bit cheap feeling. those would be the first thing id change, although i dont know how good the the bar height would be then. Brakes: adequate, but for fast paced riding at the gap, or riding it at circleville, id go with a steel braided line and better pads. Suspension: meh... it works and decent, but the front needs resprung something fierce. You can pretty much bottom the forks out by holding the brake lever and giving it a good push. so stiffer springs would be a MUST! Rear shock doesnt seem way undersprung, but id for sure do it as well. or look into other shock options if i really wanted to spend some money. engine: its a 125cc 4 stroke, what do you expect? does it have alot of power? No. but the engine is smooth, and pulled me around with no issues. its pretty quick for what it is, and you can easily clutch a wheelie up. an exhaust/filter/tune would do alot for the bike and make it even better. the power band is great in it though (what power it has) and would be a blast on a kart track. Transmission: pretty smooth, gear changes are positive and consistent. Needs another gear. If it had another gear it would change the bike dramatically. although im sure they didnt just because of the power it makes. so they are trying to utilize what the have. the clutch is great, and i did get a couple of back scratches on down shifts coming off a nice straightaway. me thinks you could probably get this bike to back in nicely. Handling: so light, so small, it corners pretty damn good even with the super plush suspenders. it will be pretty easy to drag knee on this little scoot. i think dragging pegs will be an issue, but rearsets are all over the internet already (as the bike has been out overseas for years already) aftermarket: HUUUUUUGGEEE!! as stated above its been out for years overseas. and the aftermarket is big on these. Americas aftermarket is already selling parts and they have only been in dealerships about a week. there is gonna be so many goodies for these, and CHEAP! full exhaust can be had for about $250. Fun factor: pretty awesome for a NEW bike for $3000. yes its a niche market, and really only useful for short commutes, in town hooligan riding, kart tracks like circleville, or what would be the most fun of all... laps on deals gap. this would be hours of knee dragging fun on the dragon. i would buy this bike for this purpose alone. But i think these are gonna be a HUGE success and there will definately be Grom race leagues started. this will also be the premiere pit bike im sure. if you have never experienced riding a small bike like and XR100, KLX110, NSR50, etc. at a Kart Track, then jsut hopping on the Grom and riding it like normal you may not get the same impression as i did. after riding and racing on down at CRP on little bikes makes me appreciate this bike for what it is and the true fun factor it has. good luck trying to get your hands on one in the next few months if you didnt put a deposit down on one already. Turnone and Jinu better watch out at the gap next year, if i get a Grom, im gonna be passing thier scoots up.

if its in GoPro price range, its gonna be a killer unit. id make the switch

I watched the video they have on their site introducing "the new revolutionary models". Laughable. Same shit diffrent day. The added a linked braking system (that was only done about 30 years ago by the japanese) Touchscreen nav/bluetooth/stereo ( bmw and honda have done it fir years now) Liqiud cooling (ummm no need to explain) Split stream fairing/windscreen ( thats been around for ages) So whats new and revolutionary? How about better suspension, better motor mounts so the swingarm isnt just loosely attached directly to the unbalanced motor, how about shave some weight off, better ground clearance, and REAL brakes that will stop a 950lb bike ( you know with full floating rotors)

i guess its only gonna be on the ultra, triglide, and CVO electraglide.. as they found know where else but the lower leg fairings to be able to stuff radiators? http://www.cycleworld.com/2013/08/20/2014-harley-davidson-project-rushmore-first-look-review-photos/?src=SOC&dom=fb

i havent gotten out on my bike in a while, and i need to get out and ride some good roads. anyone free this week? im thinking of taking thursday off and leaving early. not gonna make any real plans unless i got a solid group to go with. say meet in pickerington around 9-10am and take off from there. basically head south east, out 13, to 669, pick up 78, then over towards hocking area?
-
you need to be faster lol i was getting in the 58s
-
eventually yes. and a pond. i got alot of plans for this place, but all in do time
-
i do stil have my NIssan Titan. its not always gonna be around as its my wifes daily driver. also im not gonna buy a plow for it. a side by side wil work out pretty good for me, for doing the chores around here, running targets down on the range, plowing snow, and anything else i can think of. Plus i get a pretty nice deal on a new Honda since i work for honda. for the grass, i have a 50" Cub Cadet Zero turn
-
when i get all my dirt in for my back stop. and get it all shaped how i want. also after i get my targets built. i have had alot of other things going on, and havent had any time to start that project yet lol.

if anyone wondered or cared lol, reason i have been kind of inactive lately. We have moved from Hilliard out to Marysville. the last month we have been getting more and more settled in at our new place, and have been doing a few things here and there at our old place wich is on the market. Our new place is great! Twice the size of our old house, with 5 acres of land, a 2 car attached garage... and my favorite, my new shop is 30x48! been doing some small remodeling things at the new place, new flooring in the basement and what not. Been doing ALOT of mowing. and have been getting things aligned to set up my shooting range. I had 70 tons of dirt brought in today, and im gonna need probably another 100 tons still. Got some supplies for making some swinging steel targets, just no time to start that project. on a sad note, i have sold my little NSR50, and my XR100. Only thing i have now is my Ducati, which is up for sale. Love the ducati, but with the new house and land i have a few different things we would like to accomplish and have. So gonna sell the big toy. i have a good idea what the replacement for it is gonna be, but we are also considering picking up the new honda Pioneer 700 side by side. We need something to troll around the property with, and we can use to haul mulch and stuff around, along with the ability to put a blade on it. But if i cant get what i want out of the Ducati im not selling it, i know what its worth to me, and i am not gonna sell it for any less. anywho, thats whats been going on lately, i still have been doing some work on members bikes, and appreciate the business as usual!

Paul did my gsxr 600 inmy sig at a great price. He does great work. Paul rides at circleville. You may see him at the next race. He runs number playe 614, rides the kawi 450

it is a truly astonishing bike. I have some priority changes and hate to sell it, but its a pricey beast, and i have other things that need purchased. Ill be on another bike next year, just not of this caliber. Though when i decide to purchase another top tier bike, ill be getting another multistrada, But a pikes peak edition next time =-)
